Liked: If you like to meet at a bar then this is the place for you. The dorms are straight forward and linen is provided. Free internet is always cool. The elevator is awesome!

Disliked: No kitchen facilities. Staff aren't as quick as they look and can be rude, but not all are bad. Waterworks could do with some maintenance in the showers. Music is pretty loud if you are on the lower levels.

Liked: It's location, as it is very easy to get to any sights in Berlin you wish to see from there and the actual area that it is in is stunning and there is a local cafe to the left which really captures the European feel.

Disliked: We didn't stay long enough to dislike anything, it was all good for our purposes.

Liked: Good breakfast and bar service. Excellent cleanliness and we like the proximity to Restaurants and Shops.

Liked: This is somewhat neutral hostel. Not too cosy and you can have your privacy unlike in very small and hippy hostels. Also all the basic needs are met, also a lift included. Washbasin in the rooms is a very good thing too. Moabit is said to be tuff area, but I like this liveliness and wide spectrum of life you see there. And being by U2 is fine as well as TXL bus stop to Tegel airport in the Turmstrasse. A great variety of cafes and not too far away from anything

Disliked: Perhaps I've missed self catering facilities, but perhaps it works better in smaller hostels. Sometimes hostel is also noisy with teenagers and very young people, especially in the reception hall.

Liked: I like that staff is friendly and speaks English, they helped me a lot. I happen to be alone in the 6 female dorm for the first night. There are lot's of young people. It is quite noisy in the common area in the evening. The bar is open 24h.

Disliked: WIFI is only in the common room Breakfast is is 5 Euro. There is tea, juice, white bread, butter, jam, ham, salami, yoghurt, serials with milk. Well was more than enough for me.

Liked: I really enjoyed how all the people staying there were so lovely and helpful. Also the rooms were a nice size even for the larger amounts of people.

Disliked: Probably its location, it was a little bit further out of the centre than I would have liked , but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Liked: It was great value for money. The bar area was a very nice place to spend time and meet people (chill etc...) Communal events were stonking. Staff very helpful. It ROCKED. The bar and reception were open 24 hours which is unheard of really.

Disliked: The laundry was extortionate to be frank but it was also wonderfully carried out so what can I say?

Liked: staff are quite friendly. the hostel has organized weekend events.

Disliked: The Room with extremely bad sound proof wall. it sounds like many elephants are passing outside the room when other people walking in the corridor. The whole building is constructed as a amplifier which you could heard sounds from the lobby and resting room loud and clear. Staff with no control on other residents, no matter at 7 in the morning or at 1 in the night. Loud music and partying noise is all around which makes me hard to sleep.

Liked: Good breakfast. Good place to meet people. Nice surrounding, although quite far from the city center.

Disliked: Noisy. Water did not go well down at the shower's room. Rooms and bathrooms were not clean. No guest kitchen.

Liked: it has an elevator.

Disliked: Wifi only works on main floor. Weird shower system. no breakfast. Rude staff, unorganized system. Very poor quality of bed sheets and pillow. Here is the story. I checked into a female-only dormitory and later that day, a male checked in. So I went down to receptionist and asked for an explanation. The staff offered 2-persons room and told me I don't have to change rooms again and I can stay in that room until I check out. So I switched room to a 2-persons room. Next day, someone knocks on my door around 10am, so I opened the door. There was a female staff. She plainly (without saying sorry or anything) said I have to move to different room now because I paid for 4-people dormitory, not a private room. I explained the conversation I had with the night staff. It was no use. She repeated same thing again and added that I can get a free drink. At that point, I was pissed off and told her to keep the free drink for herself. Then the manager came down and again, told me i have to move because there was a mistake with night staff. I couldn't understand why I have to suffer from his employees mistakes. The manager offered if I insist, he can look for other hostels for me. Also he told me not to expect "hotel service" at the price I paid. After arguing and crying and filming soap opera, I moved to different room. As a poor, powerless backpacker, if I was thrown out of that hostel, where could I have gone to?? Since it was past 10am (most ppl already left their room for seightseeing), I asked the manager if his employee was going to just move my stuff to different room if I wasn't still inside the room. The manager's answer was shocking. He said 'yes'. It is bizarre how hostel can just grab my belongings and move it to different room without my permission. If I didn't speak fluent English, I would have gotten unfair treatments. (the hostel refunded first night's fee)

Liked: Clean. Staff cracked down on noisy people in the hallways

Disliked: It's an industrial hostel. More like a hotel than hostel. Not a great place for sitting and meeting people, unless you like approaching mobs of people. Plus, they wouldn't let you bring your own food or drink back.

Liked: Very friendly staff, available 24 hours. Acceptably clean, you make your own bed, so you know it's fresh.

Disliked: Wifi was spotty, lots of large groups.

Liked: There was a bar in the lobby, which allowed us to hang out with some of the other hostel guests when we got into Berlin late. You could not hear any noise from the bar in the rooms.

Disliked: Not central and kind of difficult to get to.

Liked: very clan host with lovely staff.

Disliked: There is no kitchen or common room. The lack of lockers in the 4 bedroom was a concern but no problems arose from this. As well, the internet died every 5 minutes in the lobby, taking about 3-5 minutes to reset itself making skype impossible.
