Liked: It's cheap, well located and in a quiet neighborhood. Also for that price there is nothing more to pay as it includes breakfast and bedlinen. The showers were warm too.

Disliked: It genuinely looks like a prison: long corridors, empty common rooms, non-decorated bleak bedrooms, lukewarm radiators. The member of staff who welcomed us wasn't particularly welcoming.

Liked: The breakfast was amazing!

Disliked: The male bathroom was in a different floor we were near the historical city center but still we had to take the subway

Liked: Good breakfast, convenient but peaceful location.

Disliked: A bit grim, also they keep the shower room window a bit open at December which made it quite cold.

Liked: The neighbourhood is very cosy, the place is quiet, not far from the metro station and not so far from the center of Berlin. Free breakfast is good and plentiful.

Disliked: There is no common kitchen and even boiling a tea is a problem.

Liked: there was a rooster.

Disliked: the bathrooms smelt horrible (I almost threw-up), the staff were so unfriendly, unhelpful and very odd.

Liked: It is what we're looking 4 from a hostel

Disliked: We got a room on the 3rd floor. Yet, no lift or elevator available. We got a lot of luggage and its hard to carry through the stairs :(

Disliked: In a residential area a 10 minute minute walk from the subway.

Disliked: Very poorly lit roads leading to the hostel.

Liked: + close to the center if you like to walk a bit + close to the Oranienstrasse + most of the staff was very helpful + clean + good value for money overall

Disliked: - not that close to a metro station if you're not in the mood for walking - one member of the staff was (very) unfriendly - military style building - quite noisy in the morning

Liked: Only good thing was the large breakfast and the location.

Disliked: Very minimalistic, army-style rooms and corridors. Not really a nice and cozy place to hang out or meet other people. The staff was mostly friendly, but some of the staff members had no skills to customer service. When arriving to the hostel we got lost and I called the hostel to ask some directions, the answer was in the phone: "sorry, i cannot help you. ask somebody else." When arriving finally to the hostel the receptionist didn't even say hello and if I tired to ask something the reception guy just ignored us. Apparently the old guys in the reception are friendly only if you are over 27, otherwise you are treated like a 6-years-old. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

Liked: Clean, very simple facility, great price, had breakfast included (not sure this works year round..). Most of the staff were very nice and tried to help with whatever they could. Advice, information, 24h reception was great thing.. room to hand out, free wifi, though a bit too slow and sometimes hard to connect to. The place was not that far from Checkpoint Charlie, also some interesting area to the east..

Disliked: The room looked more like army barracks, basically most of the facility looked like that (but I guess that is Germany.. :) ), it seems to be connected with some sort of a dorm, I am not knowledgeable of German, but I think this was a high school dorm, with some awkward people coming to breakfast. But no real troubles or anything, not aggressive, nor threatening just awkward..

Liked: I felt safe and secure in the property. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The reception was open 24 hours which was a great help. Continental Breakfast was good, cereals, crusty rolls with cheese, meats, boiled eggs,fruit, coffee and juices.

Disliked: The property lacked in comfort and in need of some more homely facilities for guests.

Liked: Very good location. I could get nearly everywhere from this place. Not far to U-bahn, about 800metres to the nearest museum.

Disliked: The doors wasn' hermetic.

Liked: really good value for money. the room was pretty big and warm, and also the breakfast was good enough!

Disliked: it's like 10 mins walking from the station, but l'm used to live in london so it's not a problem

Liked: Cheap and most staff was friendly.

Disliked: One of the staff was unfriendly and not being helpful. Noisy place due to bad isolation. Not clean room.

Liked: The breakfast service is very good, absolutely very recommendable. The staff is pretty helpful, and the place is quiet and in good location.

Disliked: The look of the place is a bit gloomy and grey, it looks more like an office of some kind than a hostel.

Liked: Big room, clean bathroom, well organized, nice staff.

Disliked: Bed was way too soft, gave me back pains and I'm fairly athletic. Internet not 100% stable. Shower switches between hot and cold.
