Liked: Big room, clean bathroom, well organized, nice staff.

Disliked: Bed was way too soft, gave me back pains and I'm fairly athletic. Internet not 100% stable. Shower switches between hot and cold.

Liked: cheap, free breakfast, good bath facilities. Located near Kreuzberg.

Disliked: It's a bit far from the U-bahn stations, 10-12 min. walk.

Liked: Great location right near Checkpoint Charlie and cool Kreutzberg area. The best way to describe this is like a university block of halls but that had been decorated like a school. Does exactly what it says on the tin; it's a centrally located, cheap and friendly place to stay but don't expect to meet lots of new people it's not that kind of place. The breakfast, however, is great. There's plenty of it and there's something for everyone! This is an exceptionally good value place to stay in Berlin for short stays and for people who like to eat out rather than self-cater.

Liked: It is located near kreuzberg, the funkier area in berlin!

Disliked: 0% fun, an assistant thread us that he calls the police cause we were talkin a bit loud in the garden of the hostel. Very unkind of him. Many schools there so not so good about 20-25ers

Disliked: It was necessary to take the train everywhere, though walking is fine in summer.

Liked: Das Frühstück

Disliked: Das Personal war total unfreundlich, sie haben uns behandelt als ob wir kleine Kinder wären, wir haben doofe Antworten bekommen und sie haben Scherze gemacht die wir unpassend gefunden haben (und wir sind recht offen). Das Zimmer war schmutzig und man konnte alle Geräusche vom Flur hören.

Liked: The staff were helpful and most could speak both English and German. The free breakfast was a great way to start a day of sightseeing.

Disliked: There were a lot of school groups there during my stay so it was difficult to meet fellow solo travelers.

Liked: The breakfast was good.

Disliked: Pretty much everything but the breakfast.... Dodgy area, prison like rooms, male toilets on different floor etc etc

Liked: To begin with, the facilities are good, the hostel has a patio -it is nice to stay there at summer nights- and a room with pool and other stuff for amusement. Moreover, the breakfast included is varied and very good, specially considering the price you pay. Staff people are friendly and there is someone at reception 24 hours a day.Finally, it is close to an underground stop and to Checkpoint Charlie.

Disliked: The hostel does not have Internet access. In addition, it is not in the very center of Berlin, so it takes a little to reach some places by walking. However, there is an underground stop quite close.

Liked: 5-10 minute stroll to the tube, nice atmosphere at the hostel, very helpful and friendly staff, great value for money.

Liked: Very scary hostel. Ling corridors with no lights. made up of three separate blocks - there was not a single light on in the whole place. We checked out bec it was to scary to sleep there

Liked: Quiet, central location close to the Jewish Musuem. Excellent buffet breakfast. Clean and plentiful bathroom facilities. Excellent value for money.
