Liked: The atmosphere is really great, the staff is very friendly, you can acces internet at any time, next to U-Bahn station... Just great, and good value for money!!! Oh, and breakfast included!!

Liked: This is the most fun hostel I have ever stayed at! The staff become your friends along with everyone else in this homey-feeling place. It's full of character and the rooms are spacious and the kitchen equipped. It's walking distance to everything and there's a grocery store nearby.

Disliked: There's a lot of stairs to walk up but the staff carry your bags up for you!

Liked: Berlin is the coolest city in the world and this hostel is the coolest hostel in Berlin. I've stayed here twice now and will continue to stay here each time I go to Berlin. The manager Simon is awesome :)

Liked: i stayed 4 nights at this place and had a really good time. not far from alexanderplatz, and the staff were really helpful, friendly and encouraging of everyone getting to know each other. cheers guys

Liked: I really enjoyed the free breakfast untill 12. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. This place really felt like a home away from home. Has a relaxed atmosphere and a good lounge to hang out in.

Liked: Absolutely amazing, fun and laid-back hostel. It's quite small and the staff makes you immediately feel welcomed. Definitely going back, thumbs up!

Liked: This was one of the best hostels we have stayed in based on the atmosphere, easy to meet and chat to people as there is a nice big commonroom, a guitar and a projector for a massive collection of movies. Breakfast is good and its not far on the metro to the centre of town. Simon (the manager) is awesome, very helpful and a good laugh.

Liked: The hostel was extremely easy to get to (I arrived from airport) and it was also very easily accessible since the metro is a block away. There is ALOT going on in the neighborhood, like a famous bar right downstairs and a great falafel place on the corner (which seems to always be open!). Besides being in a great location, the place is clean! I saw the staff cleaning the bathroom regularly, which made me oh so happy! Breakfast always had cereal, cake, fruit, toast, various jams, peanut butter and even nutella! The best part is that is is included in the price. Great kitchen facilities and probably the best internet connection I have had in a hostel thus far. As if this were not enough, the staff is also AMAZING! Simon and Andressa were so helpful and always made themselves available. I will be back in Berlin for sure and Hostel Aloha is definitely where I would stay again, even if only to hang with the staff!

Liked: Everything, locate was fantastic, price was good, helpful staff, great people, common roo This place didn't feel like a hostel, it was like a big family. It was perfect. You will easily meet people here. Simon will help you with anything and everything. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and it's a really nice change to the bigger hostels like Wombats etc. STAY HERE

Disliked: They provided us with free biscuits and tea- I ate so many!!

Liked: Great staff, very clean an not too far away from all the main sights - about 10 mins walk. Rooms were all very clean and the place had heaps of character. Although it is being renovated it was still a great place to stay.

Disliked: not much. they just need a sign out the front cos we had a little trouble finding it.

Liked: I booked for four nights, but ended up with leaving after the first night. People, including the staff (Simon) and fellow travelers were nice and helpful, but the facility is too old. I wanted to have a good sleep for the first night, but people came back to the dorm very late (4-5am), although they tried to keep quiet, the floor and bed shaked when people moved around. So I didn't have any sleep for the first night. Not wanting to ruin my stay in Berlin, I moved to a hotel on the second day.

Disliked: Old floor and unsteady beds.

Liked: Small, social place, good location (U-bahn 100m) If you travel by yourself or just want to to meet people this is the place in Berlin!

Disliked: Bring earplugs because there is a bar under the hostel which is 7 days a week open till 5 a.m. or so

Liked: the stuff were very helpful, cooperative and friendly. They were familiar with city. They know all the touristic destination and how to reach to them. The hostel is located almost in the heart of Berlin. There is a bus stop opposite to the hostel where a bus goes straight to the main station.

Disliked: The place was a bit dirty, noisy, one bathroom for 12 pple, it was always busy. You need to wake up very early to be able to take shower without waiting. For those who are not willing to party. This is not the right place to stay. It is very noisy during night particularly in the other side of hostel where the stuff stay. It took almost some time to find the place, there was no sign directs to the place. The front door looks very scary. the building was dirty. The hostel was in the third floor where you can see a sign of the hostel.

Liked: it was a great place to meet people as the common area was in the middle of the dorms with the kitchen was opposite. the shop and bar downstairs stay open untill the early hours and sell cheep beer. very close to the metro station and bus straight to the main station right outside.

Disliked: the main door outside was never locked however the hostel was on the third floor and the doors to the this area were locked most of the time.

Liked: This was a great neighbourhood with many interesting cafes, shops, bars. I came alone but it was easy to meet people here. The place was cool, people were friendly, and everything was comfortable. It was also a good place for chilling. The environment was casual, and the staff were super nice. No problems at all.

Disliked: nothing that I can think of really, I guess it would be nice to have a table to eat on, but its really not a big deal cause you have the lounge

Liked: The bathrooms are good.

Disliked: Well, when we stayed in the aloha we were impressed with it....... Until the night time. The hostel owners thought that it was a great idea to host a party in the hostel after a night out at the clubs and held the party on our hostel floor even though the owner knew we were trying to sleep in the dorm just next door. People who weren't even guests in the hostel were invited and the party didn't finish until 4:30 in the morning and only ended when i went out and yelled at them. Not only did the staff not try to stop it they were partying along with everyone. Because we didn't sleep at all the next day was ruined as we were too tired to explore Berlin. If you want a good hostel pay a bit more for the fantastic wombats just around the cornor.

Liked: Aloha hostel feels like staying at a close friend's house, rather than an impersonal chain. The staff were exceptionally helpful and I really enjoyed the character of the place.

Disliked: Being four flights up with no lift isn't ideal, however "Pedro" carried my ridiculously heavy luggage up by himself, which was awesome.

Liked: A small hostel with a really cosy, friendly atmosphere. We watched movies one night on the projector and it felt like I was at home with a bunch of mates! Great staff, great location...

Liked: i really enjoyed my stay at hostel aloha and would highly recommend other travelers to stay here. The kitchen and lounge room is a great place to meet new people and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a very handy night shop just next to the hostel with 80 cent beers and lots of restaurants close by.
