Liked: Ease of access to internet facilities Availability of lockers (for 3 euros) for the whole stay.

Disliked: Breakfast starts late - 8am! It's a rather noisy place Curtains do not keep out sunlight in the morning

Liked: The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hostel provides great opportunities to meet people, from the fact that it's just an overall really sociable place, and also provides information of other ways to meet people, such as small tours and pub crawls.

Disliked: I have nothing bad to say about the hostel whatsoever! I highly recommend it!

Liked: I liked the fact that it was in a great location, the atmosphere was very chilled out and relaxed. It was like staying at a friend's house, all the rooms had their doors open, everyone could wander everywhere, the living room and kitchen were large enough to accommodate socialising and it made meeting people very easy. Internet access was always available and had a good connection speed. One of the hostel staff came out with a group of guests on my last night and took us to a cool bar which we would not have found otherwise. I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay in Berlin!

Disliked: The owners were away, and out of the two people left running it, one was always absent and the other appeared to be doing everything. Also the fact that I was the only girl staying in a room with three guys, as a solo female traveler this was slightly intimidating. But the overall atmosphere of the hostel made up for this- and all the guys were all very friendly!

Liked: The staff here are just lovely, they really look after you. Super close to the tube station and 5mins walk to Alexanderplatz. The free internet and breakfast were definitely a plus.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: We liked the great location, the relaxed atmosphere and the fact that Aloha was a cool place to stay, whether you're a backpacker, a shopper, or a someone who enjoys berlin nightlife.. Very openminded staff and very hospitable. Great stay :D

Disliked: Nothing.. you get what the description says!

Liked: The staff was super friendly and willing to help in any way you wanted, the air in general was very chill but convivial, with a sense that one could meet people and make friends while in this small hostel. The room I had was enormous and had only four beds, and for a really cheap hostel, with fast internet and a large breakfast, I was very satisfied with my experience.

Disliked: I was on the second floor, which kind be kind of lonely and quiet in comparison to the main floor where all the people, the activity, and the food is found.

Liked: It's location is pretty good and the staff is very friendly.

Disliked: It's difficult to find since there are no signs outside the building. Be sure to write the address down before hand.

Liked: i had a very good time in Aloha, the stuff there are really helpful and friendly, they gave me a lot of information about Berlin. also, the kitchen and toilet there were very clean, and they provided nice breakfast to visiters.

Liked: The staff were LOVELY (they gave us homemade cake on more than one occasion...and chocolate) the location is great, only a couple of mins from the subway and near some really good (and cheap) bars and restaurants. We had a really fun time, the hostel was clean, the staff were helpful and we were very well looked after.

Disliked: Nothing, best hostel we've stayed in.

Liked: The guests and the staff were so lovely and friendly. The hostel had a fun and inclusive atmosphere, and my stay was wonderful. Additionally, due to the free breakfast, internet/computer usage, and the nice bathrooms, it was really like staying at a friend's house. Also, wonderful location!

Disliked: Walking into the hostel is a little disconcerting because they aren't allowed to sign for their hostel (you just see 'Aloha' on the doorbell) and the bottom floors of the building look a little derelict. However, don't let this discourage you! Once you get to the floor with the hostel, it's great!

Liked: Fun place to meet people, great staff, overall great time here!

Disliked: No locks on bedrooms so had to get locker in order to feel safe with valuables. They claim they have never had problems with theft though.

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful and spoke German, English and Spanish. The inside of the hostel was very clean and the free breakfast, guest kitchen, wi-fi and sheets on the beds help to save money. Additionally, the Hostel was very clean.

Disliked: I did not have any trouble but only one toilet/sink and two showers per section could be a problem.

Liked: The staff was helpful, warm, and accommodating. While the building looks run down from the exterior, this is because it is a 'listed' property that has survived the war. Accordingly, the government prevents the owners from modernizing the appearance of its public areas. The hostel itself is very modern, has clean bedding, a decent breakfast, warm, powerful showers, and plenty of computers for easy Internet access. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Liked: This would easily be the best hostel i have ever stayed at. such a chilled atmosphere, very clean, not noisy, great bathrooms, kitchen, loungeroom. The staff are so helpful and absolutely lovely. Excellent place if you are traveling by yourself, i made some awsome friends here i continued to travel with. Theres computers with free internet and free wireless, free breakfast, loads of movies to watch in a massive projector screen in the loungeroom. Very safe area and very close to metro stations and only one station away from alexanderplatz. i wanted to live in this hostel!

Liked: This hostel is just wonderful! It is situaded near a metro-station, close to everything you want to see in Berlin. Everything is always clean and the staff members are so nice, helpul and make you feel like confortable. Every morning they got you an excellent breakfeast with everything you need to start youre day. I will strongly recommand this hostel to people who want to enjoy the most their trip in Berlin.

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff. Good location-easy to walk to most places or, if you're feeling lazy, not far from a U-bahn. Great common area to meet other people and watch DVD's. Provided tea, coffee etc throughout the day. Very secure location. Provided free internet.

Disliked: It was a bit tricky to find as there was no external sign. Also, the stairway in the building it was situated in smelled of wee
