Liked: Very conveniently located in relation to the station.

Disliked: There appeared to be only one WC on the floor and then combined rather than separate loo/shower. Having said that it din't work out too badly.

Liked: Great value for money. Cheap, especially compared with other cities in Europe. Atmosphere okay. Not a whole lot of social stuff going on with other hostellers, as there is not really any sitting room / lobby to speak of. Internet free! Awesome, and you can use their computer for free too. Super helpful. Staff present and helpful when they are there. No bunk beds! Great. No drain stoppers. Bring your own to wash clothes. Breakfast is awesome and super-well-done. The Asian who works there is a good guy. But it's expensive. Buy your own. IMPORTANT: If you have to leave early, try to return your key (to get your deposit back) the night before, or talk to someone about it. There is NO ONE at reception before at least 7am, sometimes 8am.

Liked: This hostel is perfect if you need to get to Tegel Airport. It's right down the block from the bus stop and the train station, so it's super easy to get anywhere in the city from there.

Disliked: The internet is a bit difficult to get working. I had to sit in the entryway to get it to work.

Liked: Close to Subway Station and Rather large rooms.

Disliked: There were not many young people and you had to be quiet after 20:00

Liked: The surrounding area was nice and easily to find food. Near the metro and can easily get to the city center. You can use the laundry room at a very cheap price.

Disliked: No internet connection in the room.

Liked: it has a great location, is clean and has very friendly staff!

Disliked: there is a kitchen you can use for 1€ per day which is a good thing. but it is not clean and does not even provide the most necessary things like knives, salt and pepper, kitchen towels...

Liked: Close to the train station and metro. The zone was quite and nice to walk.

Disliked: Not clean, staff not very organized or helpful. Just one internet stand in the lobby. The room wasn't cleaned at all during my 3 day stay, and the garbage bin was already full when i arrived. There was an extra dude sleeping on the floor obviously not paying but staying along a friend. Towels small and dirty. Just anyone could walk in day or night. Lousy breakfast for 4-7euros

Liked: The stuff was very helpful, the rooms and facilites were clear. The location is really good, near the S-Bhan U-Bhan station.

Disliked: The kitchen was too small and the sunshine was not really visited the rooms :)

Liked: It was clean and easily accessible by train to the main station.

Disliked: Very limited number of showers and toilets on each floor, sensor-operated showers which did not even work properly, ended up wasting much more water with the water turning on and off every 2 seconds than would have with a decent shower. Also there was a charge to use the kitchen, no wifi available except in the lobby which had no seats apart from 1 garden bench.

Liked: I found it quite comfortable and nice. The staff was extremely helpful with everything, specially when we asked them how to get to the Schönefeld airport, they even printed out an itinerary!! We were so pleased with our stay at Berolina Backpacker!

Disliked: There wasn't really anything I disliked.

Disliked: It made Italian accomodation seem like crap :)
