Liked: helpful staff, good location, you get what you pay for, free tea and internet!!!

Disliked: the fridge was so full we couldn't put any of our food in it

Liked: Located in Kreuzberg, the best place to stay. Cheap to spend the night.

Disliked: Not very helpfull staff, they do not seem to care at all. But it does not matter that much.

Liked: Nice communal area, good building

Disliked: Filthy bathrooms that never seemed to be cleaned, likewise disgusting kitchen with appliances that didn't work!

Liked: This hostel is really in the centre of kreuzbergs nightlife, bars, shops, plenty of restaurants.

Disliked: It is loud, noisy, full of drunk young people who dont care about your nightsleep. Not a good place if you just want to relax and get some sleep after sightseeing. The toilets and showers were disgusting, they never cleaned it and the crowds where too many. The stuff does not even speak german.

Liked: nothing.

Disliked: rooms were very cramped and the bunkbeds were tiny and in poor condition. on arriving, only one bed was available, when we had booked two....we shared a single!!!

Liked: location was great next to gorlitzer park and only 10 minutes from schlesisches tor.

Disliked: bunk beds were particularly low, poky and cheap. they squeezed a single bed into the middle of the floor between 4 sets of bunks meaning that there was hardly any room for stashing packs out of the way. despite signs saying 'definitely no smoking inside the hostel building' people sat in the stairwell smoking around the clock. when the back courtyard closed around 10.30pm each night everyone would move inside to the ground floor hallway and the noise travelled up the stairs all through the building. a group of guests had a jam session with drums and guitars at 1.30am on a sunday night and staff let them continue.

Liked: the couches in the lounge area.

Disliked: It has MASSIVE potential to be an awesome hostel - but management obviously doesnt care - they want to make as much money as possible doing the bare minimum for their guests. For instance, it is a large hostel; but the fridge is minute, there are two toasters but neither of them works (they should be in the scrapyard), the place looks as if it hasnt been swept:/vacuumed and mopped in years - theres just this dont give a damn attitude about the place. The fact that they misrepresent themselves on their website in such a massive way really irks me!

Liked: Near to train stations. Cheap location. Staff generally helpful.

Disliked: Stairs to get to rooms, had to get the keys to lock the individual toilets/showers. Security needed improving- lockers didnt work/ many were broken.

Liked: Really lovely old building and rooms. Free wi-fi and access to two free computers. Cheap beer at reception.

Disliked: Beds not the most comfortable but pretty good for the price.

Liked: Easy to find.

Disliked: Filthy bathrooms, had to pay for linens and linens were mandatory (just include in the price of the room then!), staff were not friendly!

Liked: Very good central location, nice big rooms, okay beds, good value for money. Very clean, safe and secure.

Disliked: No problems.

Liked: Location was great. mixing with other travellers was nice.

Disliked: Some of the staff were unhelpful but others were good. Not being given a bed and being woken to move in the night was due to disorganisation.

Liked: I liked the location, that was in the city center and had access to transportation.i also liked th character of the place that was an original east Berlin building.

Disliked: the bathroom and the rooms were not cleaned every day

Disliked: The room was not cleaned when we arrived, the bathrooms were dirty, and the staff was not very well organised.

Liked: The location is brilliant, 2 minute walk from brilliant bars, cafes and restaurants, lots of people there, 20 min walk from centere of berlin, very close to Ubahn

Disliked: the staff were not very friendly or helpful, seemed abit of an inconvenience for them to speak to us, however they were very busy so maybe this was why
