Liked: I am 20 years old male, visiting this place during new year holiday alone. I booked in 4-beds mixed dorm. Here is my comments. The biggest advantage of this place is Location, it located just beside Central Station, which is really convenience for me to reach any place in Berlin, and travel back to hostel. It is very easy to find, just exit to Washingtonplatz and turn right, so it is another convenience for backpackers who just arrived train station. Atmosphere of the place is busy. Lobby is small and crowded. But facilities is new and well-lit, so overall mood is not bad. I cannot recommend this place for family or business traveller, as the common area is too busy. But this place is very good for young traveller (like me) who don't mind about this. However, it is also too busy and not cozy enough to meet new friends along your trip Staff is helpful and friendly. check-in process is fast. One of my roommate got problem about his towel, as maid swap his private towel with hostel one. When I arrived my bed, there is folded bed linens, pillows and pillow covers left on my bed, and I have to do my bed myself. However, when I leave my room with untidy bed in the morning, Bed is always remake by staff when I come back in the evening. There is breakfast offered for 5.5 Euro, I have tried on my last day as I was rushed to catch the train in the morning. Breakfast buffet is very reasonably priced. However, Breads, Salami, Cheese, and Cornflake may be a little bit boring. This is not big problem, as we can go to the station and have meal from wide selection. You can get 15% discount in one of food court (which Burger King and KFC located inside) at central station by showing hostel key card. There is bar where drinks are sold also. Price of beer and soda is higher than outlet at the station, but still acceptable. It is also good place to get a glass of wine to make you sleep well. The room is clean. Bathroom is new, well-lit, and decorated in light tone, so I don't feel disgusting when I use it. Room is clean everyday. Nothing to complain abut cleanliness. In overall, I recommend this place, because of location, cleanliness, and price.

Disliked: The big complain is about fake fire alarm at night, it occured around 4am and there is PA announcement 5 minutes later that it is just fake alarm. Tjis is really disturbing and annoying

Liked: It has perfect location right in front of the Hbf and very easy to be seen. It's clean, new and the service is very good. As a hotel they also have the kitchen, did not have the breakfast ( 5.5 eure) since I need to finish my food, but as I observe it is really good and worth to try.

Disliked: nearly nothing, best hostel I've seen. Maybe it is you don't have free wifi in your room( but they have wonderful public area ), when you pay the breakfast ( recomnmend) you also got the wifi pin in your room.

Liked: Location, location, location - so close to Hauptbahnhof. Lockable drawers under bed big enough for backpack. Nice staff. Secure swipe card access to everything. Nice bar/communal area with free WiFi.

Disliked: Declined breakfast at 5,50 euros extra.

Disliked: A little too much distance to the city-centre of Berlin. But that was okay because of the U & S-bahn departing 50 m from the hostel.

Liked: It was more of a hotel than a hostel, though I did stay in a twin room rather than a large dorm room. I chose it for it's location which is right next to the main station. The staff were polite when checking in, and I had no further need to contact them other than when I checked out.

Disliked: Whilst wi-fi was everywhere, it was only free in the lobby, you needed to pay if you wanted it in your room. Other hostels on my trip had it for free, so might be a nice touch to extend it.

Liked: Modern, hi-tech, clean and great location!

Disliked: A few of our friends thought they booked private rooms together but were seperated into different dorms and the staff were unable to relocated them together. But this was only because the hostel was fully booked for NYE!

Liked: This was my second time staying at this hostel. I visited Berlin in 2009 for Christmas and enjoyed my stay so much that I returned this year. The location of the hostel is amazing, right next to the main station. And if your a sports enthusiast, the Tiergarten isn't far at all so you can balance out the German beer with a little cardio:) The rooms are great for the price you pay. Lots of services are also available -from lock and hair dryer rentals to a secure luggage room so you dont have to carry your things around with you on the last day. The lobby /dining area is spacious so you never feel crowded even when the place is full.

Liked: Brand new facilities! Very flash. Large ensuites on rooms.

Disliked: Rooms are a bit cramped with four bunks in a small space. Drawers had the ability to be locked with a large padlock but small travel locks didn't work on them. So you couldn't lock up valuables.

Liked: The beds here were very comfortable! There was free wifi in the lobby, and the property is located right outside the main train station, which makes it really easy to get anywhere in Berlin!

Liked: Along with the one in Vienna, the best hostel/hotel we stayed during our 42-day 12-country trip through Europe. We found it when looking for a hostel, but it looks more like a hotel. Everything was new and clean. If it was to be closer to the main train station, it'd have to be on a platform. Really close to the bundestag. Overall excellent!

Liked: It was clean and new. I enjoyed the mix between hotel and hostel - having benefits of both types of accomodation.

Disliked: Unfortunately there were a couple of large groups staying there at the time who retuned to the hostel very noisily in the early hours of the morning and were disruptive. Other than that it was great!

Disliked: The breakfast was overpriced for what it was and the rooms didn't have wifi, you had to go to the lobby to use it. Also the double bed was two single beds pushed together.
