Liked: The dorm was really clean and well decorated and beds were really comfy. The bar and outside terrace area were really nice and great for meeting people. There was an elevator which was handy as there were quite a few floors. To get into the main building where the dorms were you had to use your key card so it was pretty secure.

Disliked: There was quite a lot of noise coming from the street bellow and it is a very big hostel so there were always people coming in and out at all hours of the night/morning but this wasn't too much of a problem.

Liked: it has a great atmosphere, the bar and courtyard are great for meeting other travellers and makes it feel very warm and welcoming

Disliked: it could get a little noisy at night, it would not be a good place if you were hoping for a long nights sleep as it was very warm at the time and the windows had to be kept open making it noisy

Liked: You couldn't get more central than this. Secure rooms, big, quiet and people are very considerate after midnight, great and friendly staff, definitely a value for money. It's close to trams, trains, bus, the museum complex. Berlin is such a lovely city. I'll definitely come back given a chance since there's so much more to see. Recommended.

Liked: The directions for this place were not very good. We ended up wandering around for 20 minutes trying to follow the provided instructions, which were missing a turn. It was later at night when we got there so clearer directions would have been nice. Otherwise, the hostel was nice, in a relatively safe location, and I felt safe there the whole time.

Liked: very clean place, staff tried to accomodate to what we wanted - however we did ask to use their fridge just to put a few things in and it seemed as if we just told them their dog had died. would go there again though, great location and a few of the tours and bar crawls pick you up from there which is always helpful.

Liked: A nice hostel with a great atmosphere at the bar downstairs and the patio like area outside. The only downsides were the quite slow internet (pages would take several minutes to load, and stop loading suddenly) and the charge for linen. If it's on the bed already I expect it to be included in the price. Still, a good hostel.

Liked: It is very close to the train station. The directions were spot on! The rooms were large and nice. They have a great happy hour too!

Liked: I like the centralized location of the hostel. Easy to go around visiting the various sites. The staffs were friendly and helpful. There was one night whereby the WIFI was down and staff was very apologetic and went all out to help us gain Internet access.

Liked: good atmosphere, modern, clean, spacious. Great location. Doesn't offer towels, bed sheets are charged on arrival (2.5€ per person, per reservation). A bit noisy due to the doors closing and opening. I recomend, nonetheless!

Liked: Firstly, the price was really cheap. Secondly, the room (10beds, mixed, shared) was spacious and had decent windows, so it wasn't stuffy at all. Thirdly, the location is really good. I didn't have any problems to find the hostel, although it was after midnight. You can actually walk from/to either Hackscher Markt station or Alexanderplatz station once you get familier with the area.But this hostel is too big to meet new people. I mean, the building is huge and common space is not place to mix with people. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to solo travelers.The wi-fi internet is free, so you might want to take your laptop because the pre-paid internet was quite expensive.
