Good place for a short stay in Berlin, central location, friendly staff, clean and good beds. You have to pay separate for bedlinen; towels and breakfast are not included.

Good communal area, comfy beds, individual reading lights, nice outdoor area, good private showers, safety lockers in room that is behind at least 2 card doors (issue with people surfing behind you but not a biggie) - bring a padlock or pay 10E for a deposit! one thing to watch for is that you don't pay much more than you think at the start - linen is 2.50, breakfast 4.80, deposit on key 2, deposit on any number of other things that are provided free of charge. would come again though

The location of this hostel coupled with the fact that multiple walking tours pick up right at the front door, make this a great place to stay.

All was fine except for a bed bug that bit me during the night! I've travelled a lot and know what they're like. Surprising here,as it all seemed very clean to me.

it was right in the heart of the night life. i do want to say that the service at the hostel was extremely slow

It is very clean and good location for the price. The staff are excellent and had been very helpful for any places where I looked for, even google websites for the unusual events that I was looking for. I had joined the 5km run. Thanks for Jens' help. I promised I'd mention this in rating.

Staying at City stay was a great choice. as looking on the map of berlin I was unsure where would be good to stay. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were clean and reasonably quiet. The location was perfect as it is not far to get to a train station that is a main stop. Met quite a few people has alot of fun here will definately be back.

I really like the location and the easiness of access to all services available. I was really useful to have sheets, towels, and other services. ANd to have the option among several breakfasts and meals possible.
