Liked: WiFi works in the rooms (despite other hostelbooker reviews), kitchen is decently equipped and available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., and cheap groceries are directly across the street. The location is fantastic if you like to do offbeat sightseeing rather than the usual tourist hotspots. Extremely safe and secure location, laundry is very reasonably priced, and the staff is excellent. The price is unbeatable. Bathrooms are decently clean and well-stocked. I ended up extending my week-long stay to 2 weeks because I liked it that much!!

Disliked: The courtyard is super noisy at night, and beware of storing anything in the kitchen without a label because it will get stolen! Not a lot of electrical outlets in the rooms - namely, one outlet in the 10-person dorm. You'll need to charge things in the lobby or internet mezzanine. Kitchen is cramped and gets fairly dirty even though they clean it every day.

Liked: cheap price, large bedroom, friendliness of people

Disliked: We had our food stolen in our cupboard !! And nothing is free !!! Free bred or tea would be more friendly. Too small kitchen. Smokers aren't nice for a first floor bedroom.

Liked: Me and my friend really enjoyed the courtyard, just chilling having an "appéritif", then a little dinner ! There is also a storage room for your suitcases, which is nice when you arrive earlier than checkin time ^^

Disliked: The 10pm curfew was a little early for me, even though they will not kick you out, if you stay calm it's ok !

Liked: Good sized rooms, comfortable beds. Free walking tour!

Disliked: Not enough showers/bathrooms. People steal your food out of the kitchen.

Liked: Super hostel -very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Not that long of a walk from bars, clubs and restaurants and close to Ostbanhof station.

Disliked: The kitchen isn't great - if you're cooking here, stick to frozen pizza.

Liked: The restaurant made delicious food and the staff were friendly.

Disliked: First of all, the prices are really expensive - this is more a place for scared youngsters than experienced travellers. It's basically just an independent YHA, with all the problems that come with that. It's huge and impersonal. Some staff were helpful but most looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. I can't stand hostels that treat customers with suspicion instead of as guests, and this one is one of the worst. There's a host of bossy rules and for the prices they charge, this kind of patronising treatment doesn't seem justified. If you're looking for something clean and functional for a few days this place is fine, but it's in a hotel wasteland, is crowded and large, and very impersonal.

Liked: The inner square has a really nice atmosphere. Also very friendly staff

Disliked: The location, it's still pretty far away. Also you have to be quiet after 10p.m.

Disliked: We had two school groups staying at the same time which was a little annoying, when wanting to cook and chill out. they were running around a little too excited.

Liked: The sheets were clean. there were showers and toilets in the dorm.

Disliked: The hallways were dark and full of construction materials - quite dangerous. It smelt. It was a pretty depressing place to stay.

Liked: very easy to find if flying in to schonefeld airport, train station only 5 mins away from hostel. shops close by and a few bars and eateries.

Disliked: construction work all day and most of the evening too. wifi not good in rooms.
