Liked: The neighbourhhood, the quietness, the staff, the internet access, plus the bakeries, the resturant's and funky shops close-by. Best value for money hostel i've stayed in Berlin....ever!!!

Liked: Nice place to stay at.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. We just didn't thought about our possible late arrival. Be aware that this is necessary.

Liked: This is by far the best hostel we stayed in throughout our 2months travelling around Europe. It is clean, has friendly and helpful staff, a good atmosphere, wifi available, free cereal and tea/coffee, a good, clean kitchen, plenty of bathrooms/toilets and a common area. We felt really at home here, and with it walking distance from the station we would definitely recommend the hostel. :0)

Liked: The staff are friendly and helpful, the hostel is in a quiet neighorhood with many cafes and bars and close to the U banh.

Liked: We appreciated the kindness and awareness of the staff. Hostel is located in the 19th century house with particular atmosphere. Free internet. Neighbouring streets are full of ethnic eateries.

Disliked: Full fridge, my wine was instantly taken out :-)

Liked: Really cute and cosy, in an awesome part of town with lots of bars and restaurants and not such a touristy area.

Liked: One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Great facilities: internet; large rooms; clean bathrooms; pleasant common room and a different location from others. Although not in the middle, the area is vibrant and extremely busy filled with bars and restaurants. Also was very close to the International Beer Festival which we would not have found if not for the location. Reception staff very helpful and always on hand to help.

Disliked: Slight;y too much noise from neighbouring properties.

Liked: it was good value for money, it was a quiet neigbourhood, its clean with a friendly atmossfear, the walk to the train station was pleasant and interesting and the train ride to the centre is only 15 minutes. I liked the rule that the common room closed around 11 as it gives those who dont want to party a good nights sleep. The free tea, coffee and breakfast is a fantastic touch.

Disliked: The kitchen could be beter, but if you like spaghetti on toast then you will be fine. The shower fixtures where a bit lose, but my husband fixed them so they should be a bit better.

Disliked: Organisation, cleanliness of bathrooms, beds, The hostel double booked my room and didnt inform me. We got a tiny room with seperate beds instead. We got a discount but it really wasnt satisfying. Big minus!!

Liked: I think it was the most charming place I've been in these vacations. Staff was extremelly helpfull and nice. Thanks specially to Sophie, Hugo (but not only, I dont remember all names...) who helped me to find my way in Berlin. Valeu, meninos. Tks

Liked: I really liked the location, it was perfect. A lot of restaurants, bars, clubs and little cute designer shops, the staff was really nice

Disliked: the common room. due to the location (this is an apartment building) the common room closes at 23:00 or 24:00 and you can hardly speak after that time so it makes it hard to get to know people.

Liked: It's in an amazing and vibrant neighbourhood! The cheapest hostel I've ever stayed at. Free cereal, tea, and coffee.

Disliked: Terribly place in terms of meeting people. The common room closes at 12AM. So odd especially considering that this is Berlin and parties don't even start til 1AM. Bathrooms weren't really that clean. One didn't even have a sink in it so I couldn't wash my hands after using the toilet. Bunkbeds were awkward. No stairs to climb up the top bunk.... Really far from the train station. BUT considering that it's only 9 euro a night, just suck it up.

Liked: The beds were so comfortable, had great pillows, and were actually decently sized. There were plenty of bathrooms, and one of them had one of the best showers I've ever used. Everything was kept quite clean, the place was safe. The location is absolutely excellent, Ostkreuz is a very useful S-bahn station to be near! One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at.

Disliked: The lockers locked if you provided your own lock, but there were not enough lockers in the room- four large lockers for 6 beds doesn't make sense. In addition, I would have preferred a 24-hour front desk.

Liked: The hostel is in a really funky area of town with lots of cool cafes, bars, second hand shops and boutiques. It is only a few train stops away from the centre of town. The staff are especially nice and the rooms are really clean and spacious. It is not a crazy hostel with lots of partying, but it is a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: One of the best hostels I've stayed in! Felt like home away from home, the staff were incredibly helpful, and it just had a great relaxed atmosphere.

Disliked: It's a little far out of town but easy to get to on the train and there is plenty going on at night in that area so it wasn't too much of an issue.
