Liked: It was an ideal place to stay, close to a cheap supermarket , drinks market, transport links, restaurants, shops etc. The apartment was a great size and fully equipped, it surpassed all expectations. I would thoroughly recommend staying here!

Liked: This hostel was fantastically quiet and clean. The location is just a two minute walk of the S bahn which was fab. The hostel guy just left us to ourselves and didn't bother us at all. The room was huge and very clean- would defo stay here if in Berlin again.

Liked: My dance group and I stayed at the Pirate Hostel on a recent trip to Berlin. The room was really spacious, and the pirate beds are great! They're also fantastically comfy - the duvets are thick and soft, as are the pillows. The free Wifi works really well. The owner is friendly, and there is always someone on hand if you need help or directions. There is a giant grocery store with a good bakery within 2 minutes walking from the hostel, and there are also other bakeries nearby where you can get cheap, delicious food. Two U-bahn stations are less than five minutes away, and the tram is equally close. A mural-painted portion of the Berlin wall that shouldn't be missed is also within 20 minutes.All in all, a great place to stay.

Liked: Janick, the owner was nice, polite and helpful. We had a double private room with ensuite bathroom. The bedroom and bathroom were both extremely clean and the silky pirate bedsheets were an added bonus. The room had a TV with 20+ channels whcih was good and there were facilities for making tea pr coffee.We didn't go there to make friends in the hostel as we weren't staying long so can't really speak about the social side and we didn't have any breakfast either so can't comment on that.However, I can say its superbly located near some of the best bars and restaurants in Berlin, right near the tram and U-bahn and about a 20m slow and scenic walk in to town (Alexanderplatz).Would definately stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Liked: very cousy, great staff, value for your money! The staff was awesome!. The place is a little bit out of town but nothing the public transport can't solve.The place is very quiet and the rooms are great
