The location, the prices. People were respectful at night in the big dorm. They could have cleaned the toilet more often, there was a lot of water and dirt on the bathroom floor on the second day of my stay there.

Clean, confortable beds, good showers. Rooms are very large so your sleep depends on the number of persons that come and sleep there.

Right next to the U-Bahn stop, good price, seemed helpful, cheap internet cafe right next door, 32 bed room was spacious and clean and people were very respectful at night

Free Pool, bike rentals-though the bikes were a little shabby, good atmosphere and strong showers. Pretty comfortable beds too.

The fact the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and there was no rush to check out especially after partying hard the previous nights

The hostel was clean, the staff was multilinguial and friendly, and the atmosphere was really relaxed. I was disappointed that there were no lockers in the large dorm I stayed in. While they offered to put my possessions in a safe behind reception - located in a different building - I kind of prefer to be able to get up and go in the mornings, and didn't want to have to run up and down just to make sure the stuff in my purse was safe. I ended up sleeping with my passport, etc. inside my pillowcase. The internet is limited to 30 minutes free, and after that it gets a bit pricey. However, it was really cheap (when I went in the off season), clean, well maintained, and close to both the east side gallery and Ostbahnhof. There were some really cheap bakeries and even doener shops close by (about 2 euro, I believe), so it made for a nice stay.
