Liked: Good price, friendly staff, clean and good location

Liked: location is strategic, right in front of U Bahn, bus and S-bahn are also accessible. bars, resto, and shops can be easily found nearby. staffs are also very friendly

Disliked: the 15 bed dorm's quite stinky with sweaty bodies, if you're stay longer than 1 night, better to book less bed dorm. prepare extra 2.5 euro for a compulsory bed clothes.

Liked: Excellent location, right over the road from highly recommended soju bar and close to great clubs such as watergate, cassopeia and club de visionaire, not to mention the bustling kreuzberg with its cheap eateries. if you want to discover the grungy side of berlin, stay here! We also loved the themed rooms- we stayed in the UK room and loved it. Especially the constant heating at this time of year!

Disliked: the bathrooms were not in great condition, and on one occasion the showers didn't work as someone else was using one in a different room- not ideal in a busy hostel. but this didn't really bother us as the bar and reception made up for it, with cheap drinks on offer and smoking allowed inside after 6pm.

Liked: Fairly social and easy to meet other travellers, in a great location. Good for partying hard!

Disliked: If you are a non-smoker you may have a problem as smoking is allowed in the Bar area after 6pm however people end up smoking in all the common areas even though they are non-smoking areas so at night the whole hostel stinks of tobacco and weed too.

Liked: Staff were amazing, every single one of them. I cannot rate them highly enough - anything I needed help with, they happily accommodated. Big TV to watch films on. Cute touch in naming all the different rooms after various countries - definitely check out the car-bed in "Germany" room! Kreuzberg is a great area, and getting to the hostel was incredibly easy from Hauptbanhof station thanks to the directions they provided. I would probably stay there again, but I'd get a smaller room for sure.

Disliked: Way too many people per room, really hard to sleep at night in the humidity/noise of several snoring, sweaty bodies. The rooms inevitably stunk by morning, there didn't appear to be any ventilation. Ended up sharing a room for 2 nights with someone who screamed and argued with herself all night - of course, not the hostel's fault (and the staff were amazingly helpful and active in trying to make amends to those inconvenienced), but it did mean that everyone in our room slept terribly for 2 nights until it was resolved. Pay a little extra and go for a room with fewer beds, if you can. There are lots of hidden additional costs in the hostel as well: you had to pay for access to the computers, (but wi-fi is free), same for lockers. Reception/bar area at night turns into a smoking zone so it gets pretty hard to breathe in there if you're not a smoker, which is a shame because it's a nice social area. Fridge has a sign that says it gets cleaned out regularly but it's pretty gross.

Liked: Good location in a fantastic neighborhood for young travelers (Kreuzberg). Really close to the train station and easy to find.

Disliked: The hostel could definitely use with a few more bathrooms, considering how many people stay there. Because they were always full they were consequently quite dirty. Also the dorm rooms were cramped with little floor space and there was no where suitable to put your bags. Lastly the showers didn't have any temperature control and were often freezing cold or literally boiling hot.

Liked: The kitchen facilities were good, the beds were really comfy & the communal area with free wifi was great.

Disliked: On arrival we were told we had to pay extra for bedsheets which we were a bit annoyed about. Also, the light in our dorm was almost non existant. During the night it was good as it was easy to sleep, but you could forget about doing anything in the dorm during the day - reading, packing etc, the light was so bad!

Liked: I really like the place and the area around. It s a easy place to go an to be even bymyself. The kitchen is perfect and easy to use. Most people went friendly and respectfull with people who were sleeping in the rooms.

Disliked: I used to work in young house hostel and I never meet a unpleasant personn like one (only one!!) of the staff. The rest of the team were really nice. She was no smily, almost agressiv when we ask something. My last night, the hostel made a mistake about bed at 3 am, we were two personn for one bed, I had to see the reception to explain the situation with a really calm attitude, she did nt care at all of the situation (no sorry, no apologise), really cold, and she finish to speak to me like a "sock". It s really grievous, I m serious!. and sorry for the rest of the team who were really respectious.

Liked: The common area is nice, and so is the wifi. The 24-hour shops in the neighbourhood are great!

Liked: Friendly staff, decent location with plenty of restaurants around it, cheap alcohol on offer in the common room as well as a pool table. Great place to meet people if with others or on own.

Disliked: The staff made me feel slightly paranoid about my valuables: they recommend you give it them to put in a locker. The dorm has 32 beds, so you could get woken up at any time of the night and the pillows were terrible.

Liked: Great area (lots of cheap cafes, restaurants, bars with delicious menus - area is brooming with young people mostly, pretty positive, relaxed and open-minded atmosphere), great value for your money, great service - very welcoming and helpful. I guess it's pretty safe. Overall way better than I thought a 32 people dorm could ever be. Our stay was definitely a positive experience.

Disliked: Lack of power sockets in the walls (only in the lounge/reception area) and lack of bedside cabinets/lockers is a large inconvenience. Also only three lamps (out of 6) were working at the time of our visit and I could not see in a darkness very well.

Disliked: Missing fresh air at the first night My advice is try to be sure that at least two windows are partially opened in the dorm because when 32 people breathe in small room, you may not find any oxygen after 2 hours :D. Also it location is not so clean
