Liked: The hostel was clean, the staff was multilinguial and friendly, and the atmosphere was really relaxed. I was disappointed that there were no lockers in the large dorm I stayed in. While they offered to put my possessions in a safe behind reception - located in a different building - I kind of prefer to be able to get up and go in the mornings, and didn't want to have to run up and down just to make sure the stuff in my purse was safe. I ended up sleeping with my passport, etc. inside my pillowcase. The internet is limited to 30 minutes free, and after that it gets a bit pricey. However, it was really cheap (when I went in the off season), clean, well maintained, and close to both the east side gallery and Ostbahnhof. There were some really cheap bakeries and even doener shops close by (about 2 euro, I believe), so it made for a nice stay.

Liked: Very helpfull and friendly staff.Free billard.Safe place, closed for outside people.Unfortunatelly there wasn't parking place.

Liked: This hostel is really well set up for meeting other travelers. The location is also great. it is in a really cool area with tons of wonderful (and inexpensive) places to eat.

Liked: Large communal areas - nice decor.Downsides were the small showers and lack of them.Location was not ideal but still good w. public transport.

Liked: Location is fantastic, Kreuzberg is an interesting area of Berlin with so much cafe life and relaxing in the park around the corner.The hostel staff are super helpful, and the hostel has a great atmosphere to hang out and meet other people.
