Liked: Breakfast was very good, one of the best among all the hostels i've stayed so far. Linen was clean, bathing area was clean. Cupboards provided were big and spacious. Located around 5-10min walk from brandenburg gate and is just a few minutes from a u-bahn station.

Disliked: Wifi was not working during the stay there. Toilets were not ensuite although described otherwise on the website. Noisy neighbours could be easily heard through the thin walls and remained noisy till 3 in the morning.

Liked: Staff was very helpful. Very close to attractions and amenities. Hostel was large, bright, quiet rooms, towels, clean linens amd breakfast was amazing.

Liked: The location was very remarkable. It is right around the corner from a subway and as soon as you walk out the doors of the hostel to your right is the Postdamer Platz. It is walking distance from many memorials and sight seeing must sees. The rooms were nice, open, clean, and the beds comfy. The hostel had a hotel quality to it, with large windows that looked out to the street below. I really liked the free breakfast.

Disliked: It wasn't really near any good restaurants.

Liked: Prime location..

Disliked: Very unfriendly and attidute showing of staffs in receptions towards 'Foreigners'.. you will surely experience it... will not get proper reply or response..

Liked: Good location, 5 minute walk to main attractions of the city. Breakfast was very good. Ensuite rooms were clean.

Disliked: We had booked this hostel with the intention to use the laundary service, although found asking several times a day, the service was not available because there was only one machine for the whole hostel which was also shared with the cleaners. We were never able to do our laundary when in desperate need.

Liked: I strongly recommend this Hostel to people who want to visit Berlin in a cheap trip. It is clean enough even for me (I am so sensitive), located ina very good place in city center near the most important tourist attraction, staffs were very kind and helpful, and the price was good. I have to mention that breakfast also was very good.

Liked: Good location, really helpful staff, they even made breakfast start two hrs earlier for marathon runners in the Berlin marathon this wknd.

Disliked: Lacked any atmosphere, not a great place to meet people my impression...

Liked: The hostel was very clean and much like a hotel in character and atmosphere. The location was perfect, right next to a good shopping street, seconds from the U bahn and walking distance to most of the sites. The beds were comfy and it was easy meeting people in our room who were friendly.

Disliked: The hostel wsa so big and there were not very many social areas where we could meet other travellers. We found that it was full of school groups and small groups who were probably on holiday so weren't very interested in talking to other people. The fun factor wasn't as good as it could have been.

Liked: Breakfast was amazing! Room very clean, and open and light. Walking distance from all the central tourist district and right near the tube for travelling to other places. Staff friendly - really happy with our stay! Thanks!

Disliked: The wifi was unreliable and didn't reach the rooms...

Liked: Excellent free breakfast, good location. The rooms were clean but they didn't always change the linen after someone had left. The bath inside the room was good, and the shower worked perfectly.

Disliked: Some staff members were rude and not very useful. There were lockers in the rooms but for one of the rooms they didn't provide us with the key. Anyway you can leave your personal belongings in the safety box at reception for free.

Liked: Good location, very close to all the major sightseeing places. Beds are comfortable. Huge lockers which is good.

Disliked: They allow groups of young children to stay here which is very loud and annoying as the walls are paper thin. BRING YOUR EARPLUGS. Bathrooms are bad, see through shower screens and no hooks in the shower. Not a very good place to meet people, didn't have a very comfortable vibe either.

Liked: amazing breakfast, spacious rooms and good location

Disliked: they offer laundry service but its only one machine and available to use for a very small part of the day. took us three goes to be able to wash our clothes.

Disliked: the showers have a see through door and they let really annoying 12 year olds run around drunk.

Liked: The bedrooms are very tidy and clean, also the hostel is well located in a good area in Berlin, close to undergrounds and bus stops, which I personally didn't use them. So, I saved some money as I did the sightseeing city walking to the main spots without paying for public transport. I strongly recommend City Hostel Berlin.

Liked: Location of the hostel was great and it was easy to find. Breakfast was substantial!

Disliked: Dorms weren't so clean because of other people sleeping there (e.g. footprint on the bed linen, empty bottles and pizzaboxes everywhere). Staff didn't promoted their facilities.
