Liked: we booked a 8 bed dorm but because the place was so empty they gave us a six bed dorm by ourselves, with an ensuite. That was nice but it made it even harder to meet people. But, it was cleaned everyday and the staff were quite helpful. It was kinda weird that when we came back in the afternoon after being out all day that the cleaner had covered our beds with the bedspreads even though mine had my stuff all over when i left in the morning.

Disliked: This was the least social hostel i have ever been in. The place is so big and there is no kitchen or even really a proper common room that when you do talk to other people there it just feels awkward. You can't cook there.

Liked: Located in a very good location, just blocks from checkpoint charlie and the Brandenburg gate, in a very nice neighborhood, close to restaurants and the u2 line (main metro line). Comfortable rooms and facilities, and the best free breakfast at any hostel.

Disliked: Showers flooded water everywhere which was somewhat annoying but easy to deal with. No wifi in the rooms, it only works in the lobby (But it is very fast).

Liked: Nice and clean. Quality complimentary breakfast.

Disliked: Not enough plugs provided in room. Always a queue for recharging phones & laptops. A decent powerbar would solve that problem.

Liked: The breakfast alone is worth around 4-5 euro! Sliced meats, sliced cheeses, various sweet things, something like 4-5 different kinds of drinks (apple juice, orange juice, milk, coffee, teas...) and if you get there early enough, fresh boiled eggs. Bed was clean, closet functional..., pretty nice bar, too. Within 5 minutes of the U2 Stadtmitte station, and also another subway line.

Disliked: The Wi-Fi was less than stellar, but to be fair, they were good about fixing it when it went down.

Liked: very roomy dormitary. good breakfast which was served from 7am - 11am so people can still have breakfast after a lie in. do bring your own padlocks for the locker.

Disliked: heating's not quite enough in the bathrooms

Liked: Good location close to most sights, Internet, a lift, really good breakfast, had Safe at reception

Disliked: No lockers in room, No age limit as a rsult had an older gentlemen make us feel very uncomfortable, heaters couldn't be turned off so room really hot

Liked: Superb, central location near main tourist sites, supermarket etc. Clean, warm, and secure (in snowy conditions!), nicely festively decorated, amazing delicious breakfast selection and great free Wifi with own lptop/netbook.

Disliked: Could be noisy some nights with doors slamming.

Liked: UAL... Was the best hostel that i stayed. Room was very confortable everything was new. The breakfast, ual, wonderful, I ate a lot, was my unique food of the day. Toilet with hot walter and clean. The stat was very friendly as well.

Disliked: you have to pay to use computers, 1eur for half an hour i think.

Liked: staff were friendly and extremely helpful, walking distance to brandenburg gate and right next to a subway station. rooms were decent
