Liked: Excellent service, Great value for money, Good breakfast buffet. Easy to meet people. Decent location near checkpoint charlie.

Liked: Unlimited free soap. Reception sells energy drinks.

Disliked: Only the receptionists know English. To reset the laundry machine when it malfunctions and doesn't give you your clothes back, hold down STOP and OK.

Liked: City Hostel Berlin offers very nice rooms. Staff is very helpful. Great breakfast. Great location. Alexander Platz 10 min. walking, Bundestag 10 min, Charlie Check Point 10 min, Postdamer Platz 5 min. There is a nice supermarket just around the coner. U-Ban station next to the hostel.

Disliked: Social life is not so high, hey, but it shouldn't be, you are in THE BERLIN!!! :)

Liked: Clean, comfy, friendly staff, massive rooms, lockers, great location, Berlin in general is an awesome place, but staying in this hostel made it easier to enjoy without worries.

Disliked: The bathrooms left a bit to be desired, there was nowhere to store your clothes and things whilst showering so there was the risk of them getting wet, or nicked. No lock on the door. That's about it, a fantastic hostel!

Liked: excellent rooms!!, clean and big. Showers clean and toilets too. The breackfast was like one for a very nice hotel and we only pay 9€!! EXCELLENT LOCATION!

Disliked: to say something bad, there was only one elevator and you need to wait sometimes to get to your room

Liked: Good breakfast, helpful staff. I really like the independent the bathroom

Disliked: When the housekeepers were cleaning the room, I have no place to go as the common room was closed. The internet was not that fast

Liked: The location was great, near to every turistic place just by walking and it also has a metro station just on the corner of the hostel. Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean and spacious.

Liked: This place was great! The location is awesome because it's really close to all the major attractions as well as the metro station. The Mitte area is really nice, safe, and clean, which I really loved. The staff are friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was amazing! They had all sorts of food and it was the best breakfast at any of the hostels I've been to.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: great location close to the Branderburger Tor and other historical places, very helpful and friendly people working there, good breakfast and even included in the price... more that worth the price!

Disliked: I didn´t like the atmosphere that much, it is a very big hostel and it´s hard to meet any new interesting people... also there were mostly noisy teenagers and a lot of unfriendly negging people but it was probably just a coincidence...

Liked: Location great, staff very helpful. Fantastic breakfast, you would pay a minimum of 5 euros for this at other Berlin Hostels.

Disliked: They need to improve the locker facility in the rooms.

Liked: Everything was fantastic. The beds were comfy, the room was really clean and the free breakfast was great. The atmosphere and facilities were also great.

Disliked: Not their fault really, but there were several HUGE school/scouts groups of young kids running all over the place the whole time we were there....they were noisy and annoying! Other than that, nothing bad to say about the place.

Liked: Location is perfect and breakfast is good. Inside yard is great and they give a towel for free.

Disliked: Not enough privacy in a shower rooms, various school groups staying in and you need to pay for using internet

Liked: Amazing location, close to major attractions within a 2 kms radius, shopping centers nearby on friedrenstrabe street, a healthy breakfast is served in a spacious dining area. Receptionists do a great job 24 hrs helping newcomers to get aware of the city life and guiding them through city maps.

Disliked: There is room for making renovations in certain rooms on the fourth floor that accomodate 6 people in a room. There are no instruction booklets in any room for code of conduct inside the hostel giving its residents awareness about how to adjust and maintain good behaviour towards their fellow mates once inside the hostel room and to ensure that rules are followed within.
