Liked: The fact that the staff was very helpfull and willing to co-operate was very nice. Clean toilets and showers is also a plus and the breakfast was good too. I went to Berlin mostly to party with my friends so its good that the reception is open at all times so there is no restrictions that you have to be in by 02.00 for example or otherwise we would have gotten locked out until 07.00.

Liked: Location was excellent! Close to most things walking distance or one/ two metro stops away.

Disliked: our shower head was not working properly we notified someone and it was fixed but I had to remind them to get it fixed as 24 hrs after complaint was made it was still not working properly. Second time round though it was fixed within like a couple of hours so made up for it. Wifi was shocking - slowest wifi I have come across even in reception where is meant to work better still was very slow & if you are sharing a double room we could only log on to wifi one at a time couldn't both use it at the same time!!

Liked: The free breakfast was fantastic! It was super clean, safe, big rooms, spacious, recommended it to other travelers. By far the best hostel I've ever stayed at. Didn't want to leave Berlin.

Disliked: Only thing was there was no kitchen.

Liked: It is close to the Ubahn and very Central. Breakfast was GREAT!!

Disliked: AT the time I was there they didn't have a working key card for me. WIFI internet is not really useful.

Liked: This is a very basic tourist hostel, centrally located near many popular Berlin sites. The all you can eat breakfast lasted 4 hours and was very generous! There are a few nice lounge areas in the first floor where I was able to hang out and use wifi, before going to my next destination.

Disliked: It is a little impersonal and I was only there one night, so didn't really meet any guests. The door to my dorm room seemed to be broken in that it wouldn't close shut unless it was pulled or pushed hard. When I first got to the room it wasn't closed tightly and I was able to open the door without the key card. Some of the closet/lockers were broken. Despite this it seemed like a safe building, but I would be concerned about leaving my stuff there for more than one night.

Liked: I got the place at 1 am and the reception was opened, that's great. Also, it is perfectly located and the breakfast is pretty good.

Disliked: The wireless didn't work in the room.

Liked: Clean rooms, good breakfast included

Disliked: very big, feels more like a hotel than a hostel. hard to meet people as it was mostly a bunch of teens on school trips staying there.

Liked: Breakfast is the best. I've never had such a large selection for breakfast. It's the best part of staying here. Also the location is extremely convenient. 7 min from Checkpoint Charlie, 7 min from Unter Den Linden. 1 min to U-bahn (Mohrenstrasse). Just next to big shopping street, Friedrichsstrasse. Lots of hot water.

Disliked: It's very big. No character whatsoever. White walls, bunk beds, nothing more, nothing less. No lights at each bed, rooms have different types of lockers (bring your own lock). Big shower/toilet rooms divided by gender. No/little privacy.

Liked: the breakfast was good!..and free. the location was nicely central, not a far walk from most things. looked really clean

Disliked: wifi wasnt very good, no kitchen to use. walls and ceiling were really thin so it was quite noisey.

Liked: Breakfast was brilliant for a hostel- typically German- meat, cheese and fresh bread

Disliked: No fresh fruit at the breakfast

Liked: Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean and easy to find.

Disliked: It's set up like a hotel, rather than a hostel. Not a deficit to some, but it makes it less personable. There're also lots of families and locals. Internet is only in the lobby and there's not really a lounge area or anywhere to socialise. Basically, ot a fun place to stay.
