Liked: Location is excellent, close to underground, city centre, shops and valuable wiews :). Nice room and view from the window, nice staff at the reception desk and in the bar on the 2nd floor especially :) Kitchen is filthy and has absolutely no dishes, but fortunately there are plenty of cheap intl bars around the hostel, so you won't be hungry. You have also a nice bar at the reception as well. What was sad - as I was feeling sick (biiiig stomach problems...) and waiting some hours for the room to check in, I had a nap at the lobby bar and a tall bold guy from the staff was really rude, taking away the chair from me, not looking into my eyes and telling you should not sleep here. Not listening that I felt bad. No conversation. I felt like rubbish and that made me feel a lot worse. I wish him some more good manners.Overall- good place for really cheap money

Liked: Only complaint about this hostel is that you have to pay for use of the security locker. Other than that no problems - Everything is clean, the beds are comfortable enough and the dorms were en suite. The hostel is also at Zoologischer Garten, the centre of old West Berlin and so has fantastic transport links. With the S Bahn station just across the road you can be on the other side of the city in 20 minutes - I usually caught the S Bahn to Berlin Hauptbahnhof and then walked into the city from there...

Liked: The place is nice, but in some small issues regarding the building and furniture maintainance it is starint to falll down. I hope the owners release it and take proper actions.Location is perfect, just 1 Minute walk from the train station Berlin Zoo. Very good atmosphare. Very friendly staff

Liked: the prize we paid was nice, but the area was not of my interest and it became a handycap during the night. But luckilly the public transport goes properly in Berlin, so it was not too bad :)

Liked: This was such a relief after staying in so many dirty old hostels. Great value for money as well with the breakfast included.

Liked: Pros - Good location for Berlin Zoo and right next to the S-Bahn, supermarket right next door, alright kitchenCons - Thin walls so can be quite noisy. The beds are squeaky.

Liked: The location and the facilities. But it's to big, so it doesn't feel very cosy. And the keyboards suck because the letters are not on the right location.

Liked: Location, location, location. Its right next to Zoo. Garten Station... near all the sites and attractions. Its also right next to the pick up points for free tours too (highly recommend).
