Liked: The bar had a really nice atmosphere. Cheap beers.

Disliked: The member of staff when we arrived was short with us (almost to the point of being rude), and this really gave us a negative perception of what was actually a good hostel. However the lady we saw at check out was very nice, I think we were just unfortunate to get someone who had had a bad day.

Disliked: very hard to mix around with other people. prob bcoz of the americans/british. staffs looked swamped with people all the time

Liked: It was great for me... The only small problem for me was that it doesn't have a kitchen, but they a "buddy hostel" about 50m away that lets you cook there!

Liked: Friendly, lovely place/decoration, excellent location, really clean and secure, free walking tours, helpful staff who all spoke English, good breakfast selection. Was full when we stayed so a really good social atmosphere

Liked: (1) I wanted a hostel near CBD, with good rates. You are! So handy to U and S stations, tram, river, and ATM machine. Friedrichstrasse station is very close, so I could reach many parts of Berlin from there, and get home easily. So quick and easy to and from Tegel airport. (2) Ten minutes free on internet is good - though your computer wouldn't accept my password, and some keys were hard to read. (3) The tiny kitchen near my dorm looked unused, dishwasher full of unwashed dishes, no fridge stickers. Disappointing. Is there another room where stayers can prepare and eat their own meals? But you let me use your dish for my breakfast - thanks. (4) The floor was vacuumed. but I don't think under my bed. (5) top left locker could be pulled open after padlocking it - I told someone (6) one shower drain was blocked and drained very slowly - I told someone. I loved my stay with you.I really hope I can see Berlin again. If so I'll head straight 4 u! I will recommend you to anyone I meet who's going to Berlin. May God bless you.

Liked: The location is excellent! really near to AlexanderPlatz and the museum's island.The rooms have lots of space and you can easily share them with other people.Everyone one in the staff was really nice and funny! and you can rent bikes for a good price.I also loved the breakfast. Top quality!

Liked: The hostel was fine. Good clean room, friendly helpful staff. The only downside were the very loud, singing and whistling neighbours in the early hours of the morning. If you don't mind this sort of thing ( & we might have just been unlucky) then i would recommend the hostel.

Liked: The staff was really helpfull. They give me all the information I need, they look u up things in internet. They have a great common space to eat, drink , read and get to know new people. And the price was really good. I had to stay one more nigth, and they only had beds in the big dorms of 26 beds, that wasnt good. To noice and unconfortable. But if u stay in the 6 bed rooms it was great!
