Liked: The location is definitely really good. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic for 3 euros and the staff is very helpful.

Liked: Nice vibe, 24 hour reception and bar, lovely staff who were really helpful with tips of things to do (and not to do!!) Only recommendation is to add some details to their directions - telling people who are arriving at night to "head north" doesnt help much if you dont have a compass!!

Liked: The staff were really helpful and happy. The pool tables are huge and location is a real plus. Right next to shops and restaurants.

Liked: bathrooms/showers were great... whoever made that comment about people locking the doors is crazy. of course you are going to lock the door when you shower?? there are plenty to go around. overall it is one of the best i have stayed at.

Liked: Huge dormitory windows that actually opened. Lovely location. Lots of information about Berlin available in reception. Gigantic towels. Decent-sized free locker storage before check-in and after check-out. Excellent music played at the bar. I would recommend this hostel and I would and probably will stay there again.

Liked: Like the Helter Skelter (music themed), and only a couple blocks away -- very modern and clean facilities, just like a hotel, card key and all. Spacious rooms AND generous common room/bar area(though I thought ventilation in common space was poor, very very smoky in evening (which is not so US-friendly). Half size lockers in rooms are adequate. All roommates (from Germany, Australia, and Mexico were exceptionally personable, which I partly attribute to the place and its character). Staff very friendly and helpful. Laundry was not working which was a pain (20 min walk to closest alternative), but that is temporary.
