The Heart of Gold is the Starship under the Berlin hostel umbrella. It looks a bit like a spaceship but in fact it is - mostly harmless. It is centrally located an in between sights and nightlife and is inspired by "The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy" by Douglas Adams.

Accommodation Information

Most of the rooms are painted by different artists and feature a table and chairs, a mirror and a huge window.

We offer a number of different room types including singles and twins with a shower and washbasin, 3-8 bed dorms with shared facilities and luxury apartments for up to 10 people.

In the dorm rooms you'll find bunk beds and normal beds, each with a reading light. There is one locker per person where you can lock your stuff using a pad-lock, which is available for 5 € deposit, which you get back on check-out.

Sheets are included, but we charge a 5 € deposit which you also get back on checkout.

The Hostel is most centrally located in the heart of Berlin. Almost all sights are within walking distance, including:
