Our team will gladly show you the way to the Brandenburg Gate, send you off to Checkpoint Charlie, point you towards the Jewish Museum or direct you towards Friedrichstrasse – all of which can be reached easily and quickly. Right around the corner, you’ll find numerous bars, restaurants and cafés in Berlin’s Bergmann “kiez,” or neighbourhood. And with the help of the Free Walking Tour guides, you’ll discover the city first-hand, picking up the best tips and advice along they way – they’ll even start the tour directly at the hostel for your convenience.
You are also welcome to take advantage of all the highlights of the additional MEININGER hostel across the street, while at the same time enjoying the calm and quiet of this house. Or do both: after relaxing in your room, head across the street to check out the7th-storey terrace with panorama views over Berlin, meet up with friends in the bar and lounge or mingle with backpackers from around the world in the hostel kitchen.
If you’d rather have your peace and quiet, just book a single or double room and get all the relaxation you need. Maybe you’re en route with friends, colleagues or family? If so, a shared room with up to six beds could be just the right thing. Or, if you like being surrounded by people at all times of day, a bed in one of our dorm-style rooms may be the perfect choice for you. We also have All-Female Dormitories for those women in search of a more private space.
