Liked: Excellent, Helpful staff. Great value for money. Full kitchen access and close to a supermarket and S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations.

Disliked: Knives at the kitchen could be sharper; I wish there was an option to book double bed instead of twins ;)

Liked: Excellent location, comfortable bed...actually extremely good for the price. Not the nicest or finest looking accommodation, and metal bunk beds, but it's a place to stay and it's cheap at that!

Disliked: Nothing to dislike for the price, really.

Liked: friendly and clean. across the street from a food store! safe and quiet

Disliked: one of the showers did not have hot water and the kitchen could be better equiped but it was mostly a good deal

Liked: Even though we are 8 people in the room, u don't really feel it, the rooms are very spacious, has windows, light, heating systems. You have completely free WIFI. The best for me is that they have a kitchen with ovens, microwave, plbug pan and a dish washer !!! The staff super nice and the place us very clean!

Disliked: All good.

Liked: EVERYTHING WAS PERFECTLY KEPT..... CLEAN AND DRY.... KITCHEN FACILITIES WERE ALSO AMAZING,ROOM WAS CLEAN WITH BEDSHEETS CLEAN AND FRESH..... EVEN THE RECEPTION WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL ... a TOTAL VALUE FOR MONEY OR I CAN SAY MORE THAN THAT....

Liked: really clean, spacious, sociable and a good atmosphere

Disliked: location is not very central, but that is my fault for not researching more...it is about 20/30mins to central areas of berlin.

Liked: I guess you get what you pay for. Staff was very gentle.

Disliked: Location: The hostel is far from most things to see. There is public transportation but its 15 minutes walk. Dirt: The bathroom and toilettes were dirt. Its quite noise too.. one morning they were using an aspirator at 7am.. waking up everybody

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location, right off a main street with lots of shopping and restaurants, close to bus lines and transportation routes. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Poster boards with tips of what to do, where to go, and what to see lining the walls. Staff printed out directions with bus routes and times whenever we asked how to get somewhere.

Disliked: The directions online were old so it was a bit of a hassle to find (wrong train listed--not the S9)

Liked: The staff are the nicest and most helpful I have encountered in europe. Knew extensive german and english, and even printed out the train tickets we needed for our ride out of the city. They also stock the kitchen with plenty of dishware and appliances, and fill the walls with info and directions to places and things to do in berlin. Well worth the cost of a stay.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: 1. very good location, just 5 minutes from the U-bahn station Hallensee. 2. well-equiped kitchen 3. nice room, clean facilities 4. lots of maps, pictures and tips what to do and where to go in Berlin

Liked: The cleaningness and the quietness, its a nice place to rest. It has a great supermarket a few meters away and the people in charge are nice, specially the young lady who is attending.

Disliked: It has no washing machine, not even paid... could be easy to fix one there and if money is the problem, they could simply charge you for using one, it`s not about the money, it`s about not having to go arround with clothes trying to find a place to clean them...

Liked: I loved this hostel! Very friendly staff, big lockers and spacious rooms! I enjoyed the great atmosphere and highly recommend this hostel. Its so close to the centre of Berlin-west, right around the corner of Kurfurstendamm! Love it!

Liked: Wow can I say how great this place was. The staff were so helpful, they even printed me out all the train times and directions to the airport, as well as my boarding pass free of charge! The hostel was clean, comfortable and fun, beds comfortable and nice big lockers with locks provided free. The guest kitchen is great, don't understand the negative reviews, they don't have an stove but they have toaster ovens and microwave. The location is in a nice area of Berlin in walking distance to the Kurfürstendamm (main shopping street). Yes its not close to Mitte but easily reached by train. I would highly recommend this hostel.
