Liked: Dorm rooms were actually pretty large, and had ensuite bathrooms, which is a little annoying if there's a lot of you getting up at the same time, but we didn't have that problem. The bar was really friendly with lots of drink specials, it was a great place to meet people. The staff were helpful, even if their advice wasn't always 100% accurate. The location was pretty good, and it's easy to get around from there.

Disliked: It's slightly more expensive than I'd like to pay, and the price goes up on the weekends. The breakfast (which costs extra) probably isn't worth the money. Apart from that, a great hostel!

Liked: Wombats is a great place to stay. Having stayed in the Munich property before, I knew that the Berlin hostel would be good and now I am glad I chose to stay here. The rooms are clean, showers are hot and the bar is awesome. The staff on the front desk were friendly and very helpful with directions and suggestions for bars and clubs, with service you would expect from a 5 star hotel concierge. Do yourself a favour, stay in this hostel. You will not be disappointed!

Liked: I loved the location! It was such a great base for our stay in such an amazing city. All the staff were so nice and helpful - gave great advice on night life / things to visit during the day. I'd recommend this to anyone and everyone who wants to have fun. It's also a really good place to chill out. The rooms were also fantastic - each has their own en-suite. Moreover, the beds were really comfortable. The roof top bar was pretty and an enjoyable venue to get drinking before going out.

Disliked: There wasn't anything I particularly disliked at all - however, it was quite expensive for a hostel. In saying this, it was well worth the money and I didn't regret my decision to stay there in the slightest.

Liked: good location, secure, big spacious rooms, very clean, own bathrrom with a fan that works!

Disliked: pay for the net, not that bad I guess, not sure about wi-fi

Liked: Staff were amazing. They go above and beyond. Bar upstairs great place to meet people. Clean and tidy, kitchen included and cafe next door does cheap meals for guests.

Liked: we were coming from amsterdam so the increase in space and comfort was an obvious plus - the staff are well informed and friendly, the bar convenient and cheap, and the communal kitchen well stocked. the lockers and keycard system are really effective and we had no problem with noise.

Disliked: large groups of touring travellers (topdeck, contiki) seem to pass through this hostel - we stayed over the weekend and found them to be generally ...unpleasant. however this is not really any fault of the hostel itself :) great place

Liked: The staff was wonderful, the rooms were very nice and the overall experience made my stay in Berlin really great.

Disliked: The only real thing I disliked was the experience I had with the people I shared the room with. They were very disruptive and rude during the morning hours and my friend and I had to switch rooms the second night we were there.

Liked: The hostel has a great location, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is great (although you have to pay it, but is worth it). fun place!

Disliked: The dinning area on the kitchen is a bit small, also the lounge room could have more couchs... but is cosy and has a great decoration.

Liked: Hostel was incredibly clean; staff were very helpful, from giving directions to the pharmacy to making suggestions for bars and dinner; location could not have been better (literally just steps from the station and surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops); hostel bar was a riot and a great way to meet people; breakfast was fresh and good value; lots of activities/tours/events set up for travelling students. Could not recommend it more!

Disliked: Absolutely nothing-we were very impressed!

Liked: An absolute winner!!! definitely in the top few hostels I've ever stayed in. helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great atmosphere, people from many different countries, etc etc. can not fault it!

Disliked: i guess the fact that breakfast is extra isn't cool but it's great value anyway

Liked: cleanliness. agreement with restaurant, great for backpackers!

Disliked: everything seemed cleaned but the mattresses were visibly soiled and completely unappealing to sleep on.

Liked: Went to Berlin this week with 12 of my friends n we all were very pleased with what we saw.Must be one of the best hostels i've ever stayed!!!! easy to commute, friendly staff, pretty dorms and the most important thing, is the cleanest place EVER!!!!!Breakfast cost 3.70euro but its all u can eat within 3.5 hours and is really really tasty....I wld deffo recommend it to the others, in fact all of us are going to Vienna soon, will deffo stay at the Wombat's there too, hope it's as good as the one on Berlin!! :D
