WELCOME!
As we´re new in town you can´t (yet) rely on many favorable comments from other travellers, so you have to take our word that we know a thing or two about running decent hostels!
We made sure our new house in Berlin is even better than our award-winning hostels in Vienna and Munich:

- perfect location: just a few steps from the U-Bahn. Many sights and Berlin´s major nightlife area within easy walking distance.
- State-of-the-art security: Smartcard access to front door, floors, rooms and even the locker in your room.
- All rooms with private shower and toilet.

- Apartments with kitchen, loggia and separate bedroom.

PLEASE NOTE: The rates given on this site DO NOT INCLUDE BREAKFAST. An all-you-can-eat continental buffet brekkie costs € 3.50. You don´t need to 'reserve' breakfast, just come round to the reception in the morning if you are hungry.

Unfortunately, cleanliness is not always a given in many other hostels, but it is of great importance to us. We have won the 'Cleanest Hostel Worldwide Award' in Vienna and Munich. We´ll work hard this year to win it for this hostel as well.

We are centrally located and close to public transport. All our rooms come with comfy wooden beds, private shower & toilet facilities and free lockers for your belongings. You´ll get a free set of bed linen, a free welcome drink and a free city map with all the essential information what´s going on in town.
We offer an all-you-can-eat breakfast (not included), our lively womBAR which serves cheap drinks and food, internet terminals, a laundromat, a guest kitchen for free use, 24-hour reception and - of course - no curfew, no lockout and no stupid rules.
You won´t find all of that anywhere else in town.

Great Social Atmosphere
We make sure that you will feel safe and welcome here. We know what it´s like being on the road all day, seeing the sights and all that walking and more walking, so it´s cool to have a nice vibe at the hostel where you can have a few drinks, talk and make new friends. This will make your stay a memorable one! Many travellers have stayed quite a bit longer in our hostels than they had planned to.
Wombat's is not dirt-cheap
but the very best for the best time in your life.
