Customer reviewI absolutly enjoyed my stay at Meininger Hotel. It is a very modern and clean place to stay. The rooms are well equiped and you are able to get a good night sleep. The location is perfect. You have the tube station right in front of the door and you are in the middle of lively, beautiful Prenzlauer Berg but also very near the city centre. Breakfast is good with a wide choice of things for a reasonable price. Overall I would definitly come back to this place. |

Customer reviewThat you could see it was new and clean. Also the location was perfect! What I didn't like was that the administration of the hostel itself was not very good. We didn't get the towels that were included in the roomprice. In the evening we rented bicycles and paid for them to pick them up the next morning, but the next morning the bikes were gone and rented to others. |

Mauricio OsakiI booked this hostel for me and my parents during our stay in Berlin. I was a bit afraid because it was a Hostel and my parents are not that young! However my parents just loved Meininger! The atmosphere was great and respectful! The staff was amazing, helpful, friendly, and very efficient! The locations is perfect, just in front the Underground St. The room was simple but excellent, clean and organized! The breakfast was delicious for an reasonable price. It was just 10 out of 10! I will be back! Thanks a lot for the Portuguese guy working there! Best, Mauricio Osaki |

Customer reviewLocation was good & breakfast was good, but the 4 bed private room we stayed in had 2 bunk beds very close together & was small & claustorophobic. Avoid rooms on the lower floors facing the road as its so hot you need the window open , but then it's really noisy as it's right next to the road. The kitchen was very small considering the capacity of the hostel, and ill-equipped (no mugs or glasses). On the plus side, there were some good bars/restaurants nearby. Also, the security swipe to our room wouldn't work so they gave me the master key card which opened every room in the hostel (very trusting considering i could have ventured into anyones room if I had wanted to)! Good hostel standard, but don't know how they get away with adding the word hotel on the end. |

Customer reviewOverall, very good value for money. My favorite among all the hostels i stayed. Front desk people were awesome, accommodating and beautiful! Breakfast was good but a bit pricey. Roommates were also friendly and nice. Room was not so large for 6 men but we managed. Bathroom was very nice. Location was nothing to complain about coz its smack beside the U-bahn. |

Yuen Yee LeungGood Location good breakfast. Free internet for DB web. Big locker in room. but it took too long to wait for one bathroom in a 6 bed dom. The reception calculated the fee wrongly and ask me for payment of 300% of my original one. |
