Liked: the way building was preserved in its original form was totally cool but at the same time the old doors were noisy, so its a cost u have to pay for living in old buildings.

Liked: Bathroom facilities in shared dorm below average and not fantastic atmosphere, but adjoining cafe very handy and the nearest S-bahn station is a 1 minute walk down the road so incredibly easy to get into the city centre.

Liked: The atmosphere was good and I've met great people in the Kitchen! I've stayed at the older side with a not-so-clean bathroom and averagely clean bedroom, but you don't have to share the kitchen with so many people as you do on the clean and beautiful new wing. So I guess either side is good.

Liked: Even paying for linens this hostel was the cheapest bet, and so it was what I was looking for. A bit out of the city center, and the directions it gives are really poor. Overall a good bargain-- with the exception of the guys that came barging in at 445 in the morning. Make sure to lock the door behind you!

Liked: Easy access to all the areas we needed to go towith as mentioned a metro station just a very short walk away. only one fork in the kitchen otherwise a nice place to stay if you want a quite sleep except for the birds

Liked: Everything is so old, for example the doors, they are so old that make a big noise when you open it. and the bed and the floor is old and make noise too..This is not a confortable situation specially at night when everybody is sleeping. but it's ok, the price is very good, the staff is friendly and it's really near to the train station.

Liked: It was very close to the S-Bahn. Easy Access to Tegel and Major S-Bahn/U-Bahn Stations. Very Nice Part of Berlin. Close to Schloss Charottenburg. Room is more like an apartment with 3 multi-bed rooms, a kitchen, and a private bathroom, just no shower only a bathtub.

Liked: Aside from having put on our bed sheets, the experience was nice. I can understand this concept if we were in a dorm room, but we booked a private double. Plus, we had to go back and forth between the front desk twice just to get the right sheet combination.

Liked: They were very nice to allow us to check in early (around 11:30am). But beware - they charge an extra 2.50 euros for sheets.

Liked: Very friendly hostel with helpful staff. About 20 or so minutes walk from central bus station. So, although it is a bit far from the city centre, still a good location for people traveling by bus!
