Liked: Clean rooms and bathrooms, secure places to leave luggage, helpful staff at reception. Bar with reasonably priced drinks and food.

Disliked: The techno music that is played pretty much constantly downstairs

Liked: its the best hostel I have ever stayed in. fabulous in all respects, if I have to single out just a couple of points, really nice toilets & showers (important and a weak spot in so many hostels) and the bar / relax area is really nice too. and great staff too. just a couple of minutes walk from the airport express (no changes !) and ..

Disliked: nothing !

Liked: its pretty well located and has a cool design.

Disliked: its too big, unpersonal, theres no kitchen... it feels more like a hotel. i booked for a female only dorm and ended up with 2 men in the bedroom (i didnt know and one of them caught me in my underwear) and my bed wasnt a bed, but a SOFA with a hole in the middle from being used too much (the other people in the room had normal beds)

Liked: Pretty average place.

Disliked: Expensive breakfast, expensive bar. Staff could be friendlier!

Liked: Good overall set up, ideal location. Overall great staff though one had his moments.

Disliked: Roof terrace was out of use/order for our entire stay, pool table was out of order for the majority of our stay

Liked: The decor and communal areas.

Disliked: Could have been a bit cleaner. Staff were not always friendly and helpful, and there was always a long wait to speak with them.

Liked: The staff were great. There was a really good atmosphere which made it easy to meet people. The hostel is really well located and has some really cool bars nearby.

Disliked: At the time there was some building works going on nearby which seemed to begin very early not really the hostels fault.... Apart from that it was great!

Liked: The hostel was close to everything and there are many bars and restaurants around. The bar was handy as we watched the football live and the food isnt too bad as well, good prices.

Disliked: Not so much dislike but just a warning that the rooms in the basement are huge dorms, no natural light but at least you can go to sleep straight away. It was an experience and quite a funny one to say the least.

Liked: Great location in easy walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, Unter den Linden and more. In a pretty cool area, with Oranienburger Strasse two streets away well worth a night-time visit. Hostel is so big that there's always lots of people who'll force you to party even when you really should be catching up on sleep!

Disliked: Breakfast is over-priced. Unless you've got a huge morning appetite the money's better spent elsewhere.

Liked: may i just say that the staff were soo friendly and helpful especially Friedmann plus the curly brunette barman they were the most craic. All the other staff were also good but they stood out the most
