Our hostel team will gladly point you towards the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, the Jewish Museum and Friedrichstrasse – all of which can be reached easily and quickly from the MEININGER house. Or why not explore the area directly surrounding the hostel? Right around the corner, you’ll find numerous bars, restaurants and cafés in Berlin’s well-known Bergmann “kiez,” or neighbourhood. Or head out with the Free Walking Tour team, who will be happy to show you all around the city and share their wealth of information and advice. They’ll even pick you up directly from our hostel.
Some great highlights await you in our house as well. Eat breakfast on the 7th-storey terrace and enjoy panorama views over Berlin. Make a date with friends for an evening in the on-site bar and lounge. Meet backpackers from across the world in the hostel kitchen.
Or if you’d rather have your peace and quiet, just book a single or double room and get all the relaxation you need. Maybe you’re en route with friends, colleagues or family? If so, a shared room with up to six beds could be just the right thing. Or, if you like being surrounded by people at all times of day, a bed in one of our dorm-style rooms may be the perfect choice for you.
