Liked: The hostel certainly had character, which I enjoyed, but you had to pay for linens, which wasn´t necessary in Meininger, and the staff was curt and pretty rude.

Liked: The atmosphere of the hostel is colourfull and relaxed. Very communicative interesting staff. With good kitchen facilities. Not so many showers, but they are clean and modern. The building is easy to find and in a practical location.

Liked: The location is simply excellent and the lounge is the perfect place to meeto other travellers. Really very good value for money. If I go back to Berlin I very likely be back!

Liked: i backpacked for 3 weeks with e friend of mine and mitties was our favorite hosetl throughout our entire trip! we even stayed int he 32 bed dorm one night and it was great we made so many friends and met such great people! i would definitely reccomend this hostel to anyone going to Berlin and I already have! I would tell eveyone I met on my trip about Mitties!

Liked: the athmosphere was really friendly and familiar and the staff told us good places to go to for to eat and drink.every night before we went to go out we sat down in the "living room" and had something to drink. you always meet people which is interesting as they are from different countries and cultures willing to talk, exchange experiences and have a good time.

Liked: General atmosphere and good lounge area downstairs although the music was a bit loud to talk sometimes. Though I would not recomend this hostel until they put locks on the dorm room doors.

Liked: Good value for the money. 32 person dorm a bit much considering there is only one shower for each sex in the dorm. Location is not too far from a good night area and is easy to get to from public transit. Overall, if you don't mind the mass of people in the 32 person room the price is really worth it.
