Liked: The place was very clean and spacious. Very good common areas for relaxing too

Disliked: The showers automatically stopped after 15 - 30 seconds so you had to constantly press the button for more water which was very annoying after a long day of exploring the city

Liked: The hostel was very cute and had a friendly vibe. The location wasn't half bad either. Everything a tourist would want to see is a walk away, not a short walk, but a nice one. Also the outside of the hostel is very well lit so it feels safe going back to it. My group was made up of three girls and we had no problem as far as safety and comfort was concerned. You are required to pay for sheets, which costs about 2.50 and place a 10 euro deposit for your key. If you check out by 11 am though you get your 10 euro back. Overall nice hostel and a great deal, we paid 26 euro each to stay the whole weekend.

Disliked: There was a slight smell in our room but it wasn't unbearable, we suspect it was coming from the beds which may have not been cleaned in a while. In order to take a shower you have to keep continuously pressing this button otherwise the water will stop running 5 seconds later or even worse come out cold. Also book the cheapest room that has the most beds because they do not really honor the set amount. Our room was supposed to have 9 beds but it had 11. Not a big deal but just don't spend the extra cash for a room you could've gotten cheaper.

Liked: design of the rooms was cool, which created a wonderful atmosphere

Disliked: the temperature of the showers cannot be adjusted - hot, nothing near warm!

Liked: great place cheap accomadation all the facilities you need, very easy to find from directions. you can meet a lot of travellers even more if they got off their laptops

Disliked: the only thing i can think of is that some of the dorms have extra beds in there and guests should be told, as you might as well book a bigger dorm

Liked: There is a big open common area with couches and kitchen which is great for meeting others in the hostel. The rooms were nice and it was always clean. The staff are also very helpful.

Liked: It's in a good location close to both tram and metro, within walking distance of the Berlin Wall memorial and some great restaurants and pubs. The bathrooms are clean as well.

Disliked: One grumpy lady at reception upon arrival and a very strict checkbin policy. We had spent the night on an over night bus and understood we couldn't check in first thing in the morning but the girl (same grumpy girl) seemed to be put out when we asked to use the toilets and shower to freshen up.

Liked: Nice kitchen/common area with tv and computer. Colourful rooms were themed and fun. Quite big too.

Disliked: Showers turn off by themselves every 30 seconds... Location was ok but not amazing.

Liked: Good kitchen. Cheap market about 100 m away. Big tv and dvd player to watch movies. Bar inside. Was nice!

Disliked: The first time I checked in, the girl at the frontdesk forced me to pay for the linen even if I had my own sleeping bag. Nobody else had to pay 2,50 extra for the linen.

Liked: Atmosphere at the corridors.

Disliked: there is no security between the rooms and outside, which makes this hostel really unsafe. Anyone from outside can just enter the rooms upstairs by using the lifts of stairs, because the reception is at the 3rd floor!?? They wanted money for sheets, which I really dislike. And when I said I wanted to use my sleeping bag rather than sheets, the receptionist insisted a lot! wtf?

Liked: great if you're on a budget, cool themed rooms (we stayed in the indian room then the berlin room) no control over temperature of showers, was quite hot but still enjoyable. great location, could walk to center (2 metro stops away) clean and safe,and the best part of all, it has a kitchen!!!!

Liked: Only stayed one night and hardly spent anytime in the hostel but everything seemed really clean and comfortable. Lockers in your room and free wifi on offer. Showers are also really good but expect to keep pressing the button for water to flow.
