The food and bar was a good place to meet people and it was very good value for the money you pay. The organized tours were very good and easily accesible as well.

good breakfast. cheap. a bit far from center, so you spend over 2 euros just to get somewhere. a bit out in the middle of nowhere. pub crawl overrated. go on the free walking tour.

Really modern, even the beds in the dorms are really unstable as they are built cheap of metal. so they are loud bouncing when the person above goes to bed.

it was very clean and the beer garden was a good little place to get the lips wet.. but its more of a hotel feel, because its so big and spread out.. but was clean, staff were great.. little bit outta the way but right beside the train station.

Really near to a tram/subway/train station. Had some places to eat nearby also. Had a bar inside and some pool tables. Lots of information on free tours and the pub crawl started at the hostel. Nice free breakfast.

Good hostel, but lacks a little character due to its sheer size. Would stay here again as there is a good range of facilities and its better than most hostels

If you are on the eurail this is a very nice place to stay, because it is right off the S-bahn which is free with the pass. It was nearly our cheapest room in europe and we were upgraded to a 4 from an 8 because the staff wanted to put us in a room with people our own age. There are lots of young (under 18) people running around this hostel. Breakfast is included and is good, and all you can eat. At night there is nothing to do around the hostel, and very little is open except a burger king and a kabob place. The hostel has a nice lugage room to leave your stuff in after you check out, but before you catch your train. This really is the biggest hostel in the world, and it is run pretty well.
Also a big note, the bathrooms have not so private showers, so take a shower at night.
