Perfect for young people. Ensuite room great for a family. Only trouble with this place was that the only comfortable seating was in a smoking room. So emabarrassed that my family was told to be quiet for the noise we were making, talking in our room.

Very clean hostel. Bar included and always good to play a game of pool after a long day out. Reasonable breakfast with rolls, cereals, tea, coffee... very German in this way. Security lockers for valuables, also lockers for bagagge in the rooms themselves. Right next to a S-Bahn stop! Would definitively recommend the hostel.

If every hostel could be like this one... You talk about atmosphere - this place oozes with it. If they opened the bar to the public, it would be a hit to it self. Since it's big, all the tours, pub crawls leave from here. The place has got an ATM, internet machines, vending machines, breakfast, great informative staff plus all the little things like a map on room card wallet of the inside and outside area of the hostel! My only gripe was the luke warm showers (it was freezing in Berlin!)- though I have been told others did not have the same problem...

Well organised big youth hostel. Bar and pool tables.
Smart rooms with lockers. Tram nearby (15 mins to centre).
Walking to the centre would take ages.
Good beds and towels provided.

Cheap drinks at happy hour, large social areas with pool tables. But the whole place was quite sterile and everything is made of metal. Not very comfortable in that sense

Great environment with really good facilities. Its a fun place to stay and I would defo stay there again!!! Its really lively and close to the city and a must for all travellers!!!!!!!!!!!!
