Liked: Fun atmosphere, FREE BREAKFAST!, the cool design of hte building and hte lighting in the corridors and in the bar.

Disliked: Nothing. It was great. Right next to the station and tram lines.

Liked: Large, clean and cheap hostel that I would recommend to everyone, including families with children. The breakfast is included which makes it the cheapest B&B stay I ever had. It's great!

Liked: Free wireless internet. Though I wish it were available in the rooms.

Disliked: Very loud. Dinner was inedible. Breakfast not great either, but cheap. The first room I stayed in had a crazy old lady who yelled at me in German and a homeless man. I switched to a female dorm and it was much more comfortable. Good place to party, not a great place to travel alone.

Liked: Not a lot...

Disliked: Although not the fault of the hostel, there was some kind of schooltrip with around 1000 kids running riot screaming at the top of their lungs through the entire building all night. Their teachers looked bored and stood outside with them while they all shouted obnoxious slurs and took it in turns to smoke and drink gross beer from a bottle. Showers were pretty dirty but fairly modern. Had an incredibly smelly guest in our dorm which actually was almost unbearable. Again though, not the fault of the hostel. Just er, something to look out for... personal hygeine.

Liked: Very clean and secure. Easy location in East Berlin both to airport and central attractions and clubs etc.

Disliked: Very big and concrete and therefore lacks much atmosphere or character. Squeaky squeaky bunk beds!

Liked: Places easily accessible via public transport. Breakfast was sufficient/ as good as a hostel breakfast can get. Rooms and bathrooms were really clean, linen and towels provided (clean!), Excellent atmosphere and met many people there. Hung out in the beer garden etc. As good as you can get for a backpackers hostel!

Liked: The rooms are very clean and the staff is extremely helpful.

Disliked: Showers are not always warm. Customers should get the chance to choose whether they want a co-ed dorm or an all female/male dorm. Also to noisy at times Internet works fine outside of room but the signal is always going out of the room.

Liked: good value for money and in good location

Disliked: crowded, noisy and not that clean. depends on what you are looking for those can be a problem or not. we were there on a budget stay. we got what we paid for and it was ok.

Liked: Nice place if you want some place to chat with different travellers, very close to tram and s-bahn stations

Liked: It's a straight shot from Schoenefeld Airport via the S-bahn, and it is very easy to locate next to the Sbahn station.

Disliked: I wanted to sleep, and noisy roommates and surrounding rooms made that difficult. I did realize afterward, however, that this was billed as 'the biggest party hostel' in Berlin--I really should have read the description more closely.

Liked: only 10' distance from the center (Alexander platz),very close to tram and s-band, warm enough, always warm water, good breakfast

Liked: Location of the Hostel is really nice: close to subway and metro station., Also what is very important - one place were you can it and drink beer just for 5 EUR, very close to hostel

Disliked: A lot of people, so lifts are always busy. And also it is not comfortable to use two different taps (hot and cold water)

Liked: Very cheap and clean - never had to wait for a hot shower or to use the loos. The staff were all really friendly. We were offered an upgrade from a dormitory to a private room for just 1 euro each per night which was a real bonus.

Disliked: The only downside was the expected prevalence of school groups but even these were not particularly disruptive as I think they are placed on their own corridors.
