Liked: Great atmosphere with lots of events and facilities on site. Excellent value for money, especially as breakfast was included! Good size rooms and sleeping facilities, the beds were very comfy!

Disliked: Bathrooms were terribly unclean and the base of the shower in particular were black with dirt. The showers also were poorly functional as if I was standing under a running tap fixed highly on the wall, very difficult to shower under effectively.

Liked: It's was really good. It's was really cheap and they also give you breakfast

Disliked: It was a little bit far from the city and the bathroom was really far from the bedroom

Liked: Happy hours at the bar :) Although breakfast was included in price, it was tasty (typical, predictible but tasty). Generally its a very good place to stay, it's huge but maitained well. For 12 EUR per night it was perfect.

Disliked: Toilets were too small when it comes to "legroom". It's not necessarily a drawback but hostel was indeed full of 17-19 year olds. 80% of guests are from USA / Canada / UK (again - rather a note that disadvantage).

Liked: The hostel had a great bar and lounge area where you could meet and chat to other guests. The hostel had go events on like a free tour of berlin and a pub crawl at night. The room was exactly what me and my friends needed.

Disliked: The breakfast isn't that good but a continental breakfast never is good.

Disliked: Worst shower of my life. Only 2 working computers, not enough. Too many people, noisy.

Liked: I stayed at the Generator in Feb with a friend, our room was nice, clean, did not have much noise -- could not hear the Bar downstairs and met lots of nice people. Breakfast was great, Hostel was really great value for money. RECOMMEND.

Disliked: The only dislike was location -- we werent nr what was going on and even though it says Prenzlaur Berg it is a good 10min taxi home.

Liked: Nice location, just 30 minutes from the airport and close to the city center. The hostel is clean and the stuff is helpful.

Disliked: The food is not so good which is to be expected in a hostel. The only thing I didn´t like was paying 9 Euro for a diner that was so bad I couldn´t eat it (considering the fact that for a same price you can eat much better elsewhere).

Liked: It was very close to many different forms of transport. also it was not that far to the main attractions of the city. It had a lot of things on offer and the staff were heaps helpful!

Disliked: To many school groups and the pillows were close to useless but that is just complaining over nothing.

Liked: Excelent hoste, free WiFi, no need to worry about Towels and sheets. Delicious Breakfast, really nice staff. Everything I want from a Hostel at the right price!!

Liked: The hostel was massive, with loads of places to chill out & a good bar with pretty fair prices. Room access was with a key card which felt very safe, and the dorms were clean with comfy beds. Free breakfast wasn't bad either!the

Disliked: The bathroom wasn't the cleanest but in such a big place it'd be hard to keep it spotless 24/7. Apart from that it was fine.

Liked: Everything is good!! I recommend~~ Remember to buy the buddy bear at the souvenir as not so much place have that!! After we left Berlin, can't see anymore.

Disliked: Location, a little bit far away from the train station.

Disliked: I found the place too big and the breakfast was one of the worst I had will travelling.

Liked: Cool industrial themed hostel.Very clean, fast free wifi, and very large.

Disliked: During our stay there were dozens of jr. high aged kids staying at the hostel. They were very noisy and were constantly playing on the elevators. When one group left, another showed up! If you're a young backpacker, do yourself a favor and stay at one of the smaller youth hostels.
