It has great facilities and offers everything you could want. It is also nice and clean. The location while not in the city centre is so close to the train that takes 15mins to the centre that it doesnt make a difference. The only down side was the fact that the bar was meant to be open until 2am and close on Friday and Saturday by 1am.

Proximity to the Landsberger Allee S-Bahn station, Generator Bar & Restaurant, Happy Hour, ease of meeting people to have fun with, convenience of sightseeing and enjoying Berlin (i.e. organization of tours, pub crawls at the hostel itself).

the atmosphere is very good, there is the biergaten and the club, good places to meet people and have fun. Breakfast is really good, all that you can eat. It's a huge hostel, with 7 floors of rooms.

It had a very cool atmosphere, was incredibly clean, provided a GREAT breakfast, and allowed other kids to meet each other in the many areas of the downstairs portion of the hostel. It was almost like living in a hotel but full of kids!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Generator. Staff were great and they have tours that leave from the hostel which is handy. Met some great people there. Our room was clean and not too small.

It is a party hostel with lots of young people and a good bar. A bit far from the city and clubs. Good bar. Too many drunk people
