Really enjoyed my stay at the Generator hostel. Staff are very friendly, the hostel is very clean and its a great way of meeting people from all over the world who are out to have a good time. Breakfast was very good but get there early as the place fills up. Also you have the choice of a free tour guide of the city. Which is a great way to get a feel for the City as it covers the main tourist areas. Generator bar has happy hours and great theme nights so you can meet people and have a laugh. The S-Bahn station is 100 yards away and everywhere is so easy to get to from there. People might say the location is poor but i found no problem at all. The Generator Hostel is a cool place and very very good value for money. great fun!! i would definately return.

Good location, it's a place to stay. Just pray you don't get stuck with an old snoring man in your room. Not solely a youth hostel, more like a cheap hotel.

Really nice place to stay, it has a lot of fun inside and it has a good location to look for fun outside too. The staff is friendly and very helpfull. I may come back someday

The generator is one of those giant, functional but souless hostels, a place to sleep but I'd be surprised if the staff could ever remember the names of any of the guests. For some people this is fine, but I prefer smaller hostels with some sort of atmosphere or character.

We enjoyed the freedom, flexibility and the tidiness. The food and drinks was good and we all enjoyed it.

This place is great. The only shortcoming is its location, which is not next to anything special, but it is just next to a tram station that will take you anywhere you want.
