Liked: It's more like a hotel. Even in the dorms, there is enough room and storage place for your things. Bunkbeds are sturdy. Hooks for your clothes, and towel in room and in toilet. Clean. Pretty. Good breakfast and coffee.

Disliked: Not much

Liked: It had a very youthful feel. Although from the the outside it lookes like a huge hotel, it was very fun on the inside. The rooms had sinks even if they weren't en-suite. We asked to be in a dorm, but they managed to find us a twin room when we checked in which was a nice suprise. The bar seems quiet early on, but gets pretty lively and is a great place to meet people. Do the bar crawl, and the free walking tour. Both are awesome. Make sure you utilise the free breakfast, its bread, cold meat cheese, cereal, tea, coffee and juice, but its good if you make the most of it.

Disliked: The showers dont have doors, only a thin curtain. Other than that its really worth the money.

Disliked: Too far from main places of Berlin and looks like a hotel, don't have an hostel atmosphere

Liked: Bar downstairs is great with cheap drinks. Loads of rooms, fairly clean and comfortable. Free wifi, only on the ground floor though. Really good value for money, 2 lifts, close to tram and train and some good and cheap restaurants, sandemans free walking tour picks you up from hostel. Plenty of couches/tables chairs etc.

Disliked: The pillows are really bad, it felt like I was sleeping on rolled up paper in material. The laundry room was also not very impressive, the machines are broken mostly and the drier took 3.5 hours to dry a small load of washing. Breakfast is pretty ordinary, but free. There were school aged kids staying here (on a school trip??), that was a bit off putting.

Liked: excellent value for money, very good breakfast included in price and dinners for 5. the female dorm i stayed in was very nice, quiet, spacious. very good, felt safe, lockers under beds (bring own padlock).

Disliked: a guest fridge would have been nice & maybe sweep under the beds = lockers every now and then. :o)

Liked: We stayed in a private twin room and it was very clean and modern Bar drinks were well priced and breakfast in the morning was great All the facilities were very clean, room, bathroom, toilets etc Beds were quite comfortable

Disliked: Wifi would be excellent if it extended to rooms or at least the private rooms.. Though it is a big facility and understand this would probably be hard

Liked: In the girls dorms they have makeup tables with mirrors. Free wifi. Free breakfast is ok but free. Lockable wire drawers under the beds.

Disliked: There are only 2 lifts in the hostel used by all guests and staff, this place is huge and you usually have to wait awhile, but at least you don't have to lug all you bags up the stairs. No wifi through the whole building.

Liked: This hostel is cheap and fun, there's a good lively atmosphere in the downstairs bar and its a great place to meet people. It's also super clean and the beds were really comfortable. Free breakfast was also brilliant.

Disliked: The whole downstairs area is decorated like a neon spaceship/hospital - looks really weird with all the metal and fluro lights. Also lots of school groups there, which means lots of annoying younger kids. Plus there are about 900 beds, so it's huge.

Liked: It was located in a great area and the receptionists was so helpful and kind. Very good English aswell! The room was like in the pictures and the breakfast was very good.

Liked: Great hostel! Highly recomended. Very good ambient and facilities. Cheap and safe. Aswome breakfast.

Disliked: It wasn`t in the center but was right in front of an underground (metro) station. The bathrooms weren`t very clean, but ok. The wifi sistem in the lobby is not very good, and you don´t have wifi in your room.

Liked: The hostel has everything you could want from a hostel including a laundry, snack and drink vending machines, lockers, parking etc. The staff even went and found us some spare mugs when we wanted to have hot drink and the kitchen was closed. Breakfast was good. Staff were reasonably helpful. Location is close to train station so easy to get around, but a bit far our from the center if you'd prefer not to take public transport.

Disliked: This hostel was very large and impersonal with a lot of really young school aged kids. We stayed on the first floor and it was very noisy, being just above the front reception area where lots of people seemed to hang out and smoke, laugh etc. So go here if you want to party not if you want to sleep.
