Liked: The Bar and the happy hour drinks. The rooms were clean and excellent. There was an excellent variety of meats for breakfast.

Disliked: No dislikes.

Liked: real INTERNATIONAL atmosphere, the accomodation is really close to the metro station

Liked: Very good facilities, awesome bar downstairs. And good kitchen food

Liked: It was cheaper compared to other places. They had a few pool tables which was great!! It's next to the train station and in between them is a fucking awesome Italian restaurant and everything it soooooll good and cheap!! Breakfast was very good!!

Disliked: How do you fit like a million people into a building, you cut down on space. We stayed in a double ensuite and it couldn't have gotten any smaller. If you're ok with that then the place is fine! The shower head in our ensuite was honestly the worst thing I have ever experienced! It was a joke! I've had better showers in the rain. And there was a jerk working at the counter when we checked in and after avoiding eye contact while i asked him in German if he spoke English 15 times he proceeded to be less than helpful and had an ugly soul.

Liked: It was clean, and the breakfast was pretty decent.

Disliked: The toilets in the rooms were tiny; they reminded me of aircraft lavatories. Not the best of locations too.

Liked: This place was cheap. The breakfast was really good.

Disliked: We had an ensuite in our dorm and when we checked in was disgustingly dirty. We had to ask 3 times at reception for it to be cleaned before anything was done. They cleaned it on our last day of our 3 day stay! It was more like a hotel and not a great atmosphere. The communal showers only have a curtain.

Disliked: too big....terrible atmosphere. the blue lighting through the entire place makes you feel like your in a club 24/7

Liked: Keycards for every room; free breakfast; very clean and well-kept.

Disliked: Had some very good interactions with staff and had some very bad ones. Very large, impersonal hostel.

Liked: the breakfast had boiled eggs and the receptionist was very kind

Disliked: such much metal everywhere! bar was very stingy. too big of a hostel it feels like a boarding school.

Liked: We loved Generator Hostel, everything that we needed was available; from internet access, very reasonable laundry services, friendly staff, organised pub crawls, bar, breakfast, great view over Berlin from our room. We had booked a 4-6 bedroom dorm as there was no availability on Hostelbookers, however when we arrived we were able to change our accommodation to a private room for an additional 5 Euro per day which was an absolute bargain. The private room was en suite. Generator was the best hostel that we stayed in while traveling through Europe and we would definitely recommend this hostel to any traveler.

Disliked: The place was great - the only bad experience was getting stung by a wasp whilst serving up breakfast, however I can not hold the hostel liable for this unfortunate incident.

Liked: The beds are new and comfortable. The breakfast is included and the variety is ok.

Disliked: The bathroom ensuite was after one day very dirty and wasn´t clean until we left but the bathroom for the whole floor was nice and clean.

Liked: How close everything of interest was. The staff really helped me and my friends enjoy the stay that we had there by assisting us on how to get around.

Disliked: The beds where a little hard to sleep on but you could get by on them.
