Liked: When you travel and you are staying in a hostel, you use it as a storage for your stuff, a place to sleep and a place to wash yourself, well Globetrotter Hostel Odyssee nicely offer me a place secure, silent and clean with a good location. If I come back to berlin, I might come back to this place :)

Disliked: It was fine for me.

Liked: Really easy to meet new people, staff are friendly, very nice common areas, clean and good breakfast.

Liked: Very nice showers. Good staff. Quite silent hostel even during the weekend.

Disliked: It wasn´t possible to lock the dorm door when any of us was inside the room

Liked: everything, excelent location, clean rooms, easy to meet other tourists

Liked: It's in a very cool neighbourhood with 12pm checkout! and breakfast has fruit, yoghurt, nutella and more than the usual stuff.

Disliked: The showers are annoying. The curtains don't reach across and the sinks for teeth and makeup are opposite them so people watch you shower and then there's nowhere to get dressed except for the wet stall. There's also a weird key system with only one key for each room.

Liked: I'm an experienced backpacker but this was my first trip with my baby son. The hostel was clean, the staff were friendly, it's close to 2 metro stops and the East Side Gallery, and the breakfast was good.

Disliked: No real complaints.

Disliked: Beds etc were "clean enough", very large dormitory (but that may just be my preference)

Liked: Best location, great staff, clean, 3 euro breakfast, 1 euro beers, good atmosphere, loved it!

Liked: Great location, walking distance of restaurants, bars, clubs, ubahn etc. its a big city so you cant be close to everything, but the neighborhood is great (especially for nightlife-y things), and its only a few metro stops from the sight-seeing centre. relaxed, good bar and outside area, clean, secure and fun

Disliked: staff were a little unhelpful compared to some other hostels, but it doesnt really make a difference

Disliked: Kitchen closed before ten am so no access to goods in the fridge etc. I wanted to pack my lunch but couldn't store fresh sandwich ingredients because I was leaving in the morning before the kitchen opened.

Liked: In general it was a nice place, really easy to jump on the S bahn and get into the city. The people working there were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: If you're going as a couple the place is madly over priced €60 for a private room for one night with no breakfast included! So no value for money. The kitchen is nice, but it doesn't open until 10 o clock, so if you don't want to buy breakfast you can't access you're own stuff in the kitchen, which is a little sucky! Also be prepared to wait in the kitchen, as there is basically only 4 cooking plates for everyone, which is also a bit annoying if you're starving and there are big groups in front of you! So in all, 25-30€ a night would be a more appropriate price to pay, anything more is an absolute rip off!

Liked: Old industrial feel of building, opposite of bland, murals decor all with zingy atmosphere - quite exciting place to arrive at.. Good courtyard. Discovered an area that might otherwise not have gone to.

Disliked: For a many-bedded dorm the price seemed a bit high - but I say that without knowledge of comparable places. There are times when I would prefer a place with more cosy comfortable communal areas, lighter for reading. But agree atmosphere is great for people who want dim rooms, loud music etc and I found the atmosphere just right for this occasion.

Liked: The stuff was very nice and helpful. The room was very nice with a good locker. also, there was a bar in the hostel that sells cheap beer. The WIFI was great, with no extra money.

Disliked: The place is al little bit old so the washing machine were old and slighly dangerous but after i told them about that i think they would take care of it. The place is located in the est side of the city so it's a little bit far away from the attractions in the west side (half an hour ride on the underground) but it's pretty close to the parties going on mainly in the east side of the city.

Liked: Pretty much everything. Very spacious hostel. Main bar/lobby area particularly good.

Disliked: Nothing really. Could have been better if it was closer to the city centre, but there are plenty of clubs, restaurants and bars around it anyway.

Liked: It has good facilites and good location in the middle of friedrichshain. Staff is good but mostly minding their own business, it is a big hostel and it is hard to meet people in there. However it has some medieval feel in it, i find really interesting. Also it has perfect rooms, beds are really comfortable.

Disliked: Atmosphere is a little bit cold compared to other hostels. Also i wish they have better computers and free (or cheaper) internet.

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel, and I think I will definitely come back here for my next Berlin trip! Staff is amazing, very cheerful and helpful, plus (and its a big plus to me) the hostel is generally VERY clean. They give you free linen, free locker and place to store your luggage, free wi-fi and if you need it there's also a kitchen you can use and its free too! Breakfast is all-you-can-eat, its delicious and healthy and it just costs 3euros! AND it's located in a very good position in Berlin (2 minutes to metro line). Whether you want to go party at night or be a turist this is the perfect place to stay. I'll surely suggest it to everyone who plans to visit Berlin.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Hostel was mostly clean, located close to two train stops, facilities were good, hostel was pretty quiet and the beds were fairly comfortable.

Disliked: No safe in the rooms, kitchen only open until 9pm.
