This place was fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was great, so was the breakfast. Note that there's not a lot in the immediate vicinity to do, so might not be right for a short visit; we were there for a week and with a week-long U-Bahn pass for €25 it was great (10 minutes to Alexanderplatz). Clean shared bathrooms/showers! BUT we had a private room which would have greatly benefited from having a sink in it. Can't complain at the price though.

I've been to this Hostel few days after you guys opened in the august of '98, no hot water and wet white paint on the walls...after almost ten years I have to say you guys have done a very good job!!

Very funky attitude!!! GREAT MUSIC ALL DAY ALL NIGHT!!! Not your average hostel, has a cool Berlin vibe, it really meshes well with the city!!!! Definately a must for travellers to Berlin!!

it was clean, bright and airy, a nice place to stay after a long day travelling. Staff were friendly and helpful.

the red rooster bar downstairs did really cheap GREAT salads!!!
the info sheet on the dorm room door said there was a kitchen but when i asked at reception they said no there isnt one...i dont know. it was an easy walk to the s and u bahn.
the breakfast was 3euro, but it was a pretty good selection, they had really nice fresh fruit morning and the coffee was good.
i would reccomend it.
