Liked: For a high-end town it was really affordable and uncomplicated. Close to shopping, restaurants and the spas.

Disliked: we had a shared bathroom only.

Liked: Good location, close to the town centre!

Disliked: We arrived fairly late in the day (9.30pm) and could not contact the owner, as the instructions told us to do. Finally, I got a call back at 11pm: our room was no longer available. We were reimbursed for another stay elsewhere. Be aware, people looking to stay here in future: try to arrive before 6pm!

Liked: It is placed in central part of Baden Baden, rooms are nice and tidy and the owner is nice and polite.

Liked: Excellent Location, value and very clean. I was in a budget twin room with my friend .... only €20 each per nite. Top Tip, when you come out the apparrtments and walk down to the main street, turn left .... after about 7-8 min walk there is a 'Penny' supermarket that does cheap food & beer and there is a very good and inexpensive pizza place opposite.

Disliked: No Kitchen i.e. place to keep the beer! if you are staying in one of the budget rooms

Liked: nothing

Disliked: No service, we only talk to the girl on the phone (so if you don't have a phone, you can't go to this hostel) and we had to put the money in the safe ourself (everybody put the money in the same safe but people could easely decide to steel from the people money that was there before. Furthermore, the staff gave our room (with the kitchen) that we paid 5 euros each person more to have to an other person, so we had to go to the restaurant. There is only one shower for every room in the place.

Liked: This "hostel" actually doesn't have a reception, so you usually will have to call the woman to come and give you the keys, etc. Past this initial problem, however, the actual place was very nice, with kitchen, a decent bathroom and TV.

Liked: Location and value of money. We had an 1 bed apartment with kitchen, our stay was nice. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Just one thing was terrible, when we come back from one night out, some stupid guest whos staying that night in hotel lock the main entrance door to feel more safe!!!, and we cant get in!!! couz we were told that the main door are open all night, and we dont need the key for main door(and we dont get any key for main door on arrival) We spend 1hour up front on door, screaming, throwing stones on the windows on 1st floor tryaing to get in.It was Nightmare, I can imagine how people can be stupid!!! There was a phone number on the door where you can call to check in after the check in desk is close, but the phone wasnt answer at night. We find a ladder to go in to a first floor balcony and knock to the window. That be sure when you staying there, there is no stupid guest staying on this same time with you :-]The hotel is realy nice, and worth the money to stay there.

Liked: Its central location and cleanliness. I would like to suggest that because the manager cant always be there to greet guests it would be a good idea to put up a sign with directions saying where to go for your breakfast. It should also be highlighted really well that guests NEED to call the hostel the minute they arive in Baden Baden airport to get entry information. All in all we enjoyed our stay there and didnt find the unusual system any major problem but could understand how some guests would get frustrated at the easy going way the place is run. I
