Liked: Great owners. Friendly. Let us borrow snorkelling gear. Lots of people there said it was the cheapest place on the island. Nice big kitchen. Hot water. Lots of books. Lots of space to socialise. 10 mins walk away from one of the only white sand beaches on tahiti and near to a few food shops. Great breakfast buffet included

Disliked: No wifi. Expensive for Internet use. No lockers in the room

Liked: The owners are very cheerful, friendly ans helpful. The breakfast was just great! Nice seating areas outsoors. Cool outdoor shower.

Disliked: Location: though pretty close to a beach it is quite far to everything else, like supermarkets, Papeete and restaurants. Without a car you re lost there. Public transport is very bad in tahiti and taxis just don t drive by and pass.

Liked: Charming. Friendly. Fresh baguettes and homemade bananna jam for breakfast (among other thing). Family owned and operated - very personal, yet professional as well. They take care of their guests.

Liked: if u don't mind a hostel a bit basic around the edges and being far from town (the further the better for me), then you will be free to thrive here amongst sunsets over fabulous lagoon beaches, dreamy weather, mango trees, sacred ruins, jungle trails & caves, a very social atmosphere, super friendly, easy-going & helpful staff & ample cooking & grocery facilities. 2 thumbs up!

Disliked: the access to beach and grocery was via a very busy road momentarily taking us out of our dream state from the peaceful beach experience. I am quite particular about beds and not all the mattresses were in great shape, thankfully though, I got a good one - so I was happy :) .

Liked: excellent kitchen facilities, good location near the beach and grocery store, really cosy atmosphere - feels almost like home, good place to meet other travellers, good breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff, safety box in room

Disliked: lots of roosters and dogs around that make a lot of noise during the night and especially in the mornings, there are not many restaurants around so the best option is to cook by yourself (grocery store is about 500m from the hostel), internet was very expensive
