The island of Moorea is just 17 km (approx. 11 mi) northwest of Tahiti with an easy accessibility:
Daily ferries run all day long from Papeete with a crossing time of 30 minutes to one hour,
Moorea’s Temae Airport has connections to the Faa’a International Airport in Papeete and onward to other Islands.
