Welcome to Chateau de Faudade. A family run residence/hotel,offering excellent value, set in a quiet, rural, friendly and very informal atmosphere. 16 spacious studios with bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchenette. We have a games room and substantial gardens with a swimming pool and bbq

This privately owned, family run, residence/hotel offers excellent value for money in a friendly and informal atmosphere. It is located 20 minutes from Toulouse Airport Blagnac and no more than 30 mins to Toulouse, by car. A 45 minute train ride, from Toulouse Matabiau to Merenvielle (we are 8 mins away and can come and pick you up). Situated in a quiet and rural setting but close to all amenities. Located just off the gateway to the Gers, and with easy access north towards Cahors, the Tarn, and south towards the mountains. With fantastic views of the Pyrenees, on clear days.

Each of the 16 studios is spacious with their own distinctive character. The interior has been totally renovated over the past 3 years. Chateau de Faudade’s rooms are all equipped with en suite shower, kitchen, hob, microwave, fridge, crockery with no extra charge for linen, towels etc. There is a direct line phone, free WIFI and TV with 200 channels in many languages.. Clothes are washed are free (within reason) for those staying 5 days or more.

We also have a games room with Free Pool, Table Football, and Table Tennis. In our landscaped garden we have a swimming pool, with access to a fridge nearby, and also a barbeque. Free ample secure parking. Reception is open 24x7.

We would like to point out that this hostel may not be ideal for those who wish to spend most of their time in the centre of Toulouse, unless you have a car, as we are a 45 minute train ride away.

The first night's payment will be debited immediately and if cancelled within the conditions of sale then 100% reimbursement will be made. Unfortunately this is because people have not cancelled and we have been unable to take their money for the first night booked.


English, French, Spanish and a little German are spoken.

Accommodation Information

All our rooms have kitchen facilities with microwave, hobs, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery, kitchen sink.
Ben linen and towels are provided.
All rooms have double beds and twin rooms have two x double beds.
DOUBLE ROOMS HAVE ONE DOUBLE BED WHICH SLEEPS TWO PEOPLE.THE PRICE IS PER ROOM
SINGLE ROOMS HAVE ONE DOUBLE BED WHICH SLEEPS ONE PERSON.
All rooms have private bathroom.
All rooms have free wireless internet service, television and direct dial telephone.

Location Information

It is advisable to travel here by car as the trains are infrequent to and from Toulouse. You can walk to the village of Levignac which will take you about 10 minutes. You can also walk to the Foret de Bouconne which is an extensive forest and visited by many people in the Toulouse area. Here you will find Tennis Courts, Mini Golf, three swimming pools, picnic areas.
