Liked: We chose to use this hotel because its several terrible ratings were far outnumbered by good ratings. We were very pleased with our room in almost all respects. We asked (in advance) for a room that might be QUIET and were given one on the first floor, at the rear of the building. The only noise came from other people in the hotel - chatting loudly as they came up the stairs and (of course) slamming their doors when going in. Breakfast was meagre but honest. Would stay there again, and also recommend it.

Liked: It was easily accessible by a major station: gard du nord, and also by anvers station. Only problem was the female staff member was a bit dismissive (it is paris though). The Breakfast was good but sparse.

Liked: The staff were amazingly friendly and were always willing to give advice or offer help and the complimentary breakfast is worth getting up for. Unfortunately the communal kitchen did not have much to offer with only a microwave, but nonetheless I would recommend this hostel as value for money.

Liked: The lady at reception was absolutely brilliat and funny. Or private double room was fantasic size & regrdless of location, we managed to walk all over the city without using public transport. Brakfast was also good :)

Liked: This place was quite good. Considering the price of the place being in paris, it was quite good. The place was clean but the rooms were quite small. The breakfast was a coffee/tea/hot choc plus a pain au chocolat and a piece of baguette. Some of the people at the desk were really nice and happy to speak english but others were less willing. It was really close to the Anvers metro station which was handy and right across the street from a internet cafe. All in all it was quite good.

Liked: Not many facilities at hotel, but everything you could possibly need within a 2 minute walk. Organise bookings for Moulin Rouge and Disneyland and full of good suggestions for things to do around Paris. Breakfast yummy.

Liked: The hotel is nice and the room we stayed (5th floor) was always clean, no problems with noisy neighbors. They should offer wi-fi, even chargged if the case. Despite offering public refrigerators, they could offer a small refrigerator in roons. Also, it would be pleasing enough to have a hair dryer to land on frozen days.

Liked: lovely place to stay, very simple and not expencive (include breakfast), goog lacation, staff is helpfull and nice, would stay agane and recomend to other, kitchet have only microvawe, fridge and water boiler, and that enoughe for dinner time, shop is just beside and there is a lot of choise for dinner.metro station anvers (number 2) and cedet (number 7) are very clouse and not hard to find if you have a map.

Liked: If you travel with one other person in Paris, twin private rooms are a MUCH better value than dorms by far (do the research, Paris is expensive). Let's Go and Trip Advisor say this area is unsafe at night which is COMPLETELY false. I think they lump it in with the area near Gare de Nord and Moulin Rouge which are a bit rough. This neighborhood is charming and authentic. The room was clean and comfortable. My only negatives are a lack of internet (but I was told they are installing computers and WiFI by the summer high season) and the shower heads were the hand-held type but had no way to attach to the wall so you are showering one-handed. The staff is WONDERFUL! Good value for travel with a friend.

Liked: Room very spacious and clean, good views of Montmartre. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Only one toilet per floor and showers on two of the floors - for rooms without ensuite- only downside. But excellent location and great value for money!

Liked: The location is really excellent around 8-10mins away from Sacre Coeur, and about 5mins away from Metro. Close to it there's all kind of shops from bakers, pharmacies, internet cafes etc. We really loved staying here. We would also like to thank all the staff since they were really helpful and kept the place in tip top shape especially with regards to cleanliness.
