Liked: The staff were very helpful, it was very quiet and the facilities were very clean!

Disliked: Not all that cheap for a room with only a sink.

Liked: nice location, nice breakfast, not to expensive, nice people working there.

Disliked: if you go to sleep earlier, it's not very silent - actually you can hear all your neighboors talking or walking or whatever. street is kinda loud too..

Liked: The accommodation is in a fantastic location - only 10 minutes walk from Montmartre and 30 minutes to the Louvre, both easy to find. There are also lots of interesting places within a radius of a couple of hundred metres of the hostel. The staff were warm and friendly and always willing to help out. This place is ideal for couples looking for affordable accommodation in a good location in Paris; perhaps not so good for meeting other people, but I reckon it's found a different niche.

Disliked: The walls are very thin and it is possible to clearly hear conversations in the rooms next door. The hostel is not a noisy place, though.

Liked: we stayed in a double room with shower and toilet. i don't know what the shared spaces were like, but ours was clean and comfortable. no tv or extra frills necessary in paris. the bed was comfortable and the shower clean and functioning! that's all we needed. free breakfast included pain au chocolat rather than the typical croissant.

Disliked: no internet made it harder to make plans for the day. internet cafes close by, but expensive. come with an iphone or good travel guides if you plan to travel without internet in the hostel/hotel.

Liked: It was clean. Im really clean. They will clean the room eventhough you tell them it is not necessary. We where tired with my couple one day and just wanted to sleep and they knocked the door 3 times so we could let them clean theroom. The forth time i let them in. You need to put the "no disturb" signes into the doors!!! Because sometimes the guests prefer not to change the blankets for the peace. The rooms where pretty and it was nice to have a balcon in it. We used it as a fridge.

Disliked: We were promised a private room with private bathroom and we where given a public one. Im not sure if that is a problem with this page or was it a empty promise from the hostel. There is not really any flexibility with the stuff, the check in is at 11, not 11.05 or they will just kick you out. (Doesnt matter if you are 5 month pregnant and cant lift the bags, and you are waiting for your husband to come to help you, no: the cleaning people will kick you out) Also there is no breakfast after 9.30. if you entered to the breakfast room at 9.30 you will get bad looks and no coffee.

Liked: One of the staff (female) is quite good and helpful. Breakfast is ok for me. Close to supermarket. And it is just about 10 minutes walk from metro to the hotel.

Disliked: No free wifi. We can't cook in the kitchen, there is just a microwave in the kitchen. It was noisy in the afternoon since there was construction in the hotel. One of the staff (male) was not helpful. When we checked out and left the hotel in morning ( about 5 am, no other customers he needed to serve), he even didn't open the front door of the hotel for us ( Our luggages were quite heavy). We spent quite a lot of time in opening the door. Also, the lift of the hotel was slow and always full of people that we couldn't get in.

Liked: Close to Gar d'Nord and sights

Disliked: Breakfast was pretty average Hostel staff were unfriendly and accused me of losing the key when they had infact misplaced it (and I got no apology and had to wait a long time before she would even consider looking for the key behind the desk) No wireless/ computers Walls were VERY thin, Were woken many times to other guests going into their rooms..... Cold rooms. Heating poor Overall, not a good stay!

Liked: Great location and a lovely helpfull woman behind reception with very good English which really helped!!

Disliked: Alot of construction work going on on the second floor which meant we couldn't go up or down the stairs....

Liked: Nice stay with the family.Clean place.Good breakfast and good location even to see most of the places on foot.Anvers metro station just 5 min.walk.Good value for money.Supermarket Carefurr only 5 min. when you can buy cheap food.

Disliked: The kitchen for use of everybody open only until10 pm That is too short for those who love walking at night.

Liked: Really close to Anvers Metro station and then only 10mins away from the City centre by Metro. Easy to get to from the airport even though when we landed the trains weren't running due to work on the tracks. Close to Sacre Couer which is worth a visit but we wouldn't have bothered if we weren't so close.

Disliked: Small showers with not much room to move and get changed.

Liked: A very nice room with vintage ambient, comfortable bed, sufficient breakfast and friendly stuff. Also, the hostel is equidistant from 3 metro stations or different lines that makes it extremely comfortable to get around.

Disliked: The place is in an old parisian building, so all the walls and stairs are wooden. This looks great but results in a poor sound isolation. Otherwise, it's a very adequate place for it's money and great choice for a few days stay.

Liked: Private balcony off the bedroom and sink inside. staff were really friendly and they let us leave our luggage free of charge.

Disliked: the elevator was ridiculous. It was slow and there was only one for the whole building, so because they were doing renovations on the stairwell we would sometimes have to wait ten minutes for the elevator and then it would be full. There was no wifi, and we were told it was because of the renovations.

Liked: Central location, close to Gard du Nord and Metro stations. Rooms recently renovated and adequate to our needs. Breakfast very good. Staff helpful

Disliked: Lift very old and slow, with ongoing renovations requiring stairs to be not usable during our stay it was difficult to get to & from rooms

Liked: Had my own room which was nice. A sink in the room was helpful. Beds are made daily. They also offer a very good free breakfast each morning.

Disliked: Place was literally falling apart. There were holes in the ceiling, the staircase was falling down and there is a lot of mold. Only one toliet for the entire floor.
