I thought this was a great spot. It was clean, warm, 30 seconds walk from the Metro, just down the hill from Sacre Coeur and a beautiful few minutes walk along a leafy middle-of-the-boulevard pedestrianized zone from Pigalle and all that. The water in the wash basin in my room was hot all the time and so were the showering facilities. Staff were real friendly and locked my laptop away whenever I went out, although I think I was being a bit paranoid asking for it in the first place to be honest as I found security at the Hotel to be good. There's a pay-as-you-go Internet PC in the lobby but as I had my own I could get free wi-fi, although it didn't reach up as far as my 6th floor, which was just as well or Ida been on it morning noon and night. All in all I had a great time in the city and this place was perfect for my needs. As I was leaving I realised there's a coffee/kitchen area behind the reception, but I never used it because I was eating out and about all the time. Nice and quiet at night too!

The receptionist was very friendly and speaks good English. However, we were directed to another hotel on the first night as hotel bervic was having some problems with electricity. The alternative hotel was BAD - PAX Hotel. Hotel Bervic has a few minor problems too, there wasn't any lift, and the toilet door cannot be locked.

Absolutely Nothing. Literally, The WORST hotel in Paris. Dirty rooms : they dont know how to keep the rooms cleaner. Manners-less and useless staff : dont know how to talk to a customer. It has got not even 10% of value to the customers money. Force you to step up to the 5 floors (no elevator) just because the customer has already paid the non refundable advance. I SUGGEST to SKIP this Hotel from your site. That will not degrade the value to your site atleast. Dont think that my words are harsh, They are facts.

The location was excellent. Right next to the Metro. We ended up having to hike all the way up to the 6th floor for our room. Could be tough for someone not in their 20s and 30s. We happened to be there when Algeria beat Rwanda in the World Cup Qualifier... meaning every Algerian in the city was right outside our hotel partying loudly in the streets for 7 hours. It was awesome to see, but sucked when we wanted to sleep at midnight.

The bervic Hotel has very friendly staff and is a very nice place to stay. Though they have just one shower on the third floor for the rooms without shower (the hotel has 6 floors) it was clean. I think the staff would do a lot to make you enjoy your stay :-)
