Liked: Very cheap and you pay exactly what you get, a place to sleep and shower.

Disliked: Right outside the train station very loud and it is a sketchy part of the city.

Liked: Está cerca del sacre coeur, era uno de mis sueños estar alojada cerca del barrio más bohemio de Paris, aunque luego no sea como en las películas, hay compras baratas cerca, etc. Respecto al albergue, hay cocina a disposición.

Disliked: Dormimos con una drogadicta en la habitación una de las noches, La tia no paro de fumar en toda la noche con un sindrome de abstinencia increible. No entiendo cómo te dejan durmiendo con drogadictos en la habitación. Las habitaciones, las camas, los baños, no son ninguna maravilla y el personal no es de lo más agradable que se diga. No pudimos salir a fumarnos un cigarrillo a la acera proque nos decía que no era su trabajo abrirnos y cerrarnos la puerta del albegue, cuando en nigún momento se dice que el albergue cierre sus puertas a una hora determinada. La zona es muy mala,es el barrio negro y hay mucha delincuencia, por suerte nosotras no nos encontramos con ningún problema, pero vimos incluso como se arrestaba a gente, toda la ncohe escuchando sirenas, etc.

Liked: The price was good - it was the cheapest hostel we could find that close to the city centre. There is a courtyard with a nice atmosphere and a fine working kitchen. In the rooms there is a sink and a shower - the toilet is in the hallway.

Disliked: The neighborhood was worse, than we had expected. We didn't like to go home at night, but took a cap to the doorstep. We are two girls travelling together, but a group of boys we met felt the same way about it. There were homeless people and police all over the place during the day and creepy types watching you at nigth. We felt unsafe. We found a mouse in our room.. So the cleanliness can't be all good.

Liked: in buona posizione, proprio di fronte alla metropolitana, zona centrale.

Disliked: la stanza dell'ostello era sempre aperta e non esisteva la chiave, in più avevamo prenotato una stanza da 9 e invece era da 13 con un letto mezzo rotto (a castello!).

Liked: It is cheap and not too small. Also close to the subway

Disliked: Very noisy, not very clean, some people of the staff were quite rude to guests. wifi doesn't work all the time and my MP3 player got stolen.

Liked: quite clean and nearby the subway station

Disliked: this hostel locate in Mon martere, and this place was seemed to be unsafe, even though the hostel was very close to the subway station, i felt unsafe. but the hostel staff was keeping the hostel door.

Liked: The place actually is quite clean, and is very close to the metro. The staff is very helpful, and it is a good chance to meet know friends.

Disliked: The quilt does not have a cover, and is quite dirty.

Liked: the only thing good about this hostel is that it is DIRT CHEAP! unfortunately they take that literally, and the place is dirty.

Disliked: the hostel advertises breakfast (there is a coffee machine, and NO food available). The hostel advertises that it has a shower (the water was not hot). The hostel makes no mention of the fact it has MICE (we had one coming into our room), that the kitchen is filthy, that the beds are FILTHY (the duvets have no sheets on them, and are clearly not washed between peoples stays - ours had blood stains on one)...no soap is provided for toilets, the toilets were blocked and disgusting. Location is convenient but take care - we found gangs and drug dealers hanging around outside, so you have to be very careful going to and from the hostel in case of theft...the plus side is the price, but tbh i would not stay here for more than one night or two maximum. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Liked: Im not usually fussy with hostels but I liked nothing. Nothing at all.

Disliked: This place is SO unsafe and you're packed into the rooms like sheep. I was in a 2 bunk bedroom and the room was TINY! My 1st night was aweful, in the morning I went to use the shower (the only 1 to cater for about 30+ people) and there was no hot water. It was 8am. When I was going up the escalator at the station opposite the hostel a guy had his hand in my bag to steal something, lucky I didnt have anything of value in there. After that incident I wore my big jacket with pockets everywhere and didnt take a hadbag with me. My 1st morning a guy asked for a refund back because he wasn't staying any longer and they wouldnt give him one. I left that that day to find a better hostel and I soon parted, with no refund either. The boss lady (the one who had extensive face work done) was so rude. Never a smile or hello and when I told her I was checking out early she got the cleaner to talk to me. Very rude. I asked one of the staff to help me with a bus he told me to 'look at a map'. All in all, I would definitely think before you spend any money on this hostel. There are plenty of others in a nicer area to stay. Spend more than 15 Euro a night. You get what you pay for. I have definitely learnt my lesson.

Liked: The price.

Disliked: The smell, the area, the beds (three tier bunk bed and very broken two tier bunk bed, both creaky and loud) the stupidly small common room, the people sat in the corridors, the horrible court yard..... on and on and on.

Liked: Its next to the Metro (Underground) Bathroom in the rooms, with shower! Thats the best thing in the hostel.

Disliked: Don't have wi-fi after 6 pm, you need to pay to use... Don't have a nice place to sit and eat, its the same room to use the internet, relax and eat, and just have 3 small tables. The rooms are too small for 6 people, its hard to move inside. The room its really smelly. On saturdays have a market in front of the hostel, its a little bit dangerous.

Disliked: All. Cold at night, WITH NO BLANKET. PLEASE FIGURE THIS. It's dirty, they are not kind. Me and my friend decided TO SPEND THE NIGHT IN THE STREETS after the first night (we were supossed to be there another night).

Liked: Probably just that my room had it's own bathroom, but that's pretty much it.

Disliked: Where to begin. Unfriendly staff, it's located on a very dodgy zone, wifi only at some hours and a terrible kitchen. I also saw a huge rat in the kitchen.

Disliked: no covers for duvets and pillows, no working electrical sockets in the room, no locker in the room, no free wifi at certain times, no free internet if you dont bring your own laptop, unfriendliest receptionist ever, bad atmosphere, having to ring the buzzer after 10 pm in order to access the hostel, kitchen and courtyard arent open after 10 pm

Liked: Not at all.

Disliked: The bed room and shower room are very small. More over, the staff and receptionist at the Friend Hostel are so rude and unfriendly. They don't care about customer. When the customers ask some times they ignore and some times look down customers. About payment, It was happen on me. they charge me more than the amount that I booked through HostelBooker. Even thought I tried to explain about booking and 10% deposit procedure , they did not listen to me. So what is the point of booking and deposit ???? In short , i can say that Friend Hostel is the worse hostel in Paris.
